JACK KEEP IN MIND THE PICT OF DON'S IS NOT OUT OF THE MOLDS THATS ONE WITH HOURS OF BODYWORK RIGHT DON...AND BTW IT DOES LOOK WAY BETTER THAN YOUR PAST ONESTHE BODY LINES MAY TAKE A DAY TO SAND AND TOUCH UP AND I THINK ITS THE ANGLE CONFUSING YOUR EYE...ALSO KEEP IN MIND THATS A FREE STANDING BODY WITH NO SUPPORT FROM THE UNDER SIDE(EARLIER PICTS).. AND I DONT SEE HOW THE SCOOP IS DIFFERENT THE CUT OUT MAYBE?...ALL BODIES OUT OF ANY MOLDS WILL HAVE SOME WORK TO BE DONE TO THEM THATS WHY THEY ARE CALLED KITS AND NOT FINISHES...I WOULD BET ANYONE COULD HAVE THE OUTSIDE OF MY 89'S READY FOR PAINT IN A DAY

COME TO THE MARKSIDE

Yep could just be my eye. Mark you would loose that bet because it doesn't seem that I can get anything done in one day especially with the baby now days. Mark do you have any pix of the Mark 5 out of the molds? Are you telling me it's not nearly perfect? I bet it's pretty dang close. Just in case you missed this Mark your 89 kit looks pretty dang good to me and beats the crap out of my Yancey kit. It's blown right?

Rusty what about that picture from the front?

Gee, that sure is a nice place to start with the body !

I envy those of you with the connections and funds to have a top of the line shell like that to use!!!!

Keep the pix coming, they are very helpfull for those of us who read and learn little things here and there, about body work/ fiberglass work.

That shot of the scoop is from Carl Caspars replica, you should post only onstar shots or screen grabs for comparisons, or we are going to get confused!:loco

Dee, you know more about kits then I ever will

I seriously doubt that Jack. When we moulded the kit off the 355 and made the moulds. The 1st kit out needed work so where the work was needed on the kit it was fixed on the mould so now the kits come out so good you could just paint them but it's not half the size of a Batmobile kit. I'm also delighted the kits don't have any ripple effect so they actually look like a car

I see what Jack is talking about and I don't think it is an angle illusion. I can't right click on my laptop, so I can't take the photo and edit it... But use the rear view pic for comparison. IF that is level and the garage door is level, use the wood cross beam in the door as a comparison line. You can see that the top scoop is not level. Not just on Mark's kits, but on ALL the kits I have seen so far.
