Rusty, I agree that being happy with a product and saying so does not make you a troll or a mouthpiece. What does make a person a troll or mouthpiece is when someone who has never seen a product either talks it up or brings it down based on hearsay. Or when you talk crap about someone else just because you don’t like him or her or throw in BS just to start a fight like in the post above. That's the kinds of things that has gotten some banned and will probably get still others banned. So if you are happy with your kit then go for it, tell us why it's a great kit and a great deal. But unless you also bought a kit from Paul, Don, or whoever then don't say anything bad about theirs, and I can honestly say you have not. In fact you and Nate have both done exactly what I have been begging for. Both of you have given honest opinions about the kit you bought and the car that you are now building. Something that makes me even happier is that you both seem willing to share your experience with CLTC and I hope you will continue to do so. Please share any info you learn as you progress with your build. You know what works and what doesn't. Sort of like the info that Kevin and Justin have provided like the taillight, the wheels, the gas caps, and 1919A4 machine guns. I've tried to show what I've done with items in the hopes of helping others like the exhaust tips, the front turbine, etc. I'm not a builder and I'll never make a penny off of what I have learned or shared. It's kind of sad when I think about it. I'm trying to help you build a cheaper and better car than mine. I guess that's just me. Plenty of other members her have helped me.
So lets hear about your kit. Lets hear the good and the bad. Yes there will be bad, but hopefully very limited. I’m saying that not as a troll but because the molds were taken from a body that was pulled from the same molds as many others and mine without the having the problems fixed. I can see the same problems in the pictures that my body has. None of which are unfixable with a little elbow grease and bodywork.
Oh I meant to ask I don’t see your accessories (canopy, trunk lid, nose cone, gun doors, etc) on the truck. Are they being shipped separately or are they all neatly wrapped up in the shell?
The other side of Jack (the not so tree hugger version) would like to see an all out builder’s war. But I want there to be rules. First each builder who, I will say for now is Paul and Mark and maybe Don would have to show us there product, the molds, etc. Then they would have to tell us why theirs is the best. Things like type material used, how it is made, or thick or reinforced it is and how low the cost it. Once they all have done that then we could have the war. Your kit is crap because of this or that or this and that. But like I said rules and it would have to be between the builders. Once the builders have had their say then there could be comments from people who have actually bought products from the builders (good or bad). But again rules, no tag ins from builders mouthpieces as you put it. But all of that would help the potentional buyer and its just not going to happen. Sadly the truth is that the jams and pokes will keep coming until all the builders but one are banned and all the members but the ones who side with the remaining builder are the only ones left.

Mark again nice picture. Mark how about a straight on shot of the body, sort of like the shot in the video only a little higher.
Rusty, good deal. It's like with Paul and I. I've heard people talk crap about Paul and because we are friends I do get offended but from a business side of it I just consider it BS. Why? Well because Paul has been great to me, well even better than that. He has shared some trade secrets with me and gave me one heck of a deal on a Batcycle kit. He even through in a Forever wheel cover and a bunch of extra gifts. Does that make me Paul's mouthpiece? I sure hope not. Now if I decide to buy a 66 or other kit from Paul, Kevin, Don, or even Mark do I hope to get the same great deal and treatment, I would sure hope so. Don't get excited guys it's just a thought.... My wife would probably leave me if I did.
Now on the other side I don't typically say bad things about anyone. Maybe I should tell you all the problems I've had with my kit. Heck, I'm still having problems. But the guy who I go it from was really a nice guy. When I wasn't happy with the canopy he sent me another at no cost. The same for a side doors. Now the body is thin and I have to reinforce it. I wish it were thicker. I've considered buying a new front clip but I’m worried it wouldn't line up so I'm going to add more fiberglass and metal tubing to it. Should I bash him and say his kit is crap? Well maybe. But that's just not me. Kory said that he used to work for my builder. Kory even said that it was he that named it the kit The Gothic Avenger. Do I buy it, well I'll just leave that alone?
Bottom line is Rust and Nate too and who ever else gets a kit. You will be happy with it. Why? Well hopefully because you do truly love the car and you can see by the problems with it. Weather it be thin or thick, warped or twisted you will love it. Trust me within the first few days you'll drop in a bucket or lawn chair just to see how it feels.

It would make any furture repairs to the fiberglass impossible. I did use a simalar product on the entire underside of the cars floors.
