Since I decided to use mud, I no longer need to protect the foam with Kilz. I plan to sculpt the rest with the mud and spray it with primer from time to time followed by more sanding and eventually I will spray it with grey surfacing primer which I haven't used yet, but should help smooth out small imperfections which will be followed by more sanding (of course) and waxing until I eventually have a smooth glass-like "class A" finish. Then it will be ready to mold.

Excuse me Tim? "Ready to mold"?? I do recall you telling me you were not interested in molding this cool car... CAN I GET ONE FROM YOU WHEN ITS DONE????????? It will be like my first step towards the real thing.
