YOUR LINKS OR ONLINE PHOTO ALBUMS:

modeling site: www.gothamcitysub.com

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I am a modelbuilder. I mainly enjoy structures and railroad themed modeling with an emphasis on detail and weathering. In time I will build a Batmobile, but for now, I enjoy getting information and learning from members who are building their own cars.

NAME: Earl Cooper (alias)

AGE: 24

HOMETOWN: New York, NY

DO YOU OWN A REPLICA BAT-VEHICLE? 1/10 scale RichMan's Toys, 1/18 Scale Hotwheels, the Toy-Biz and Kenner versions, a few partially built AMT/Ertl kits, the "official" (and inaccurate)blueprints. An unfinished computer model that I intend to port into the "right" game at some point.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF YOUR PAST OR PRESENT INVOLVEMENT IN THIS INDUSTRY (if willing to share): I made a low-polygon Batmobile add-on for the PC Midtown Madness 1, and started to build a more detailed one when there was hope that Midtown Madness 3 would be available for PC. On my website there are a few screenshots of other incomplete Batmobile projects.

OCCUPATION: College Student/ Army Reserve Sergeant

YOUR LINKS OR ONLINE PHOTO ALBUMS: www.angelfire.com/comics/cooper (I haven't updated this site in quite a while, due in part to a recent deployment, and in part to loss of interest/time)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I've been a Batman fan as since I was about four, I like to draw, and I dream of becoming a professional comic-book penciller. Like this site's owner, I drive a six-speed Black Trans-Am WS6 (nicknamed "The Blackmobile"), but mine is the 1996 model (couldn't afford the 98-02 bodystyle).

Welcome Earl! I was wondering when you would pop up around here. Your 3D rendering is on my site under the FEATURED 1989 REPLICAS section. I believe last time I e-mailed you was right before your deployment?

PS - You should have started your post with "Hi, My Name is Earl...."

Hey
Chris
23 Years old
I live in Canada
I don't own a batmobile yet. One day hopefully.
I don't work in the "industry", not to sure what that mean. But I love to work on cars, then drag race them. I also have lots of friends in the auto industry.

Yeah, Justin you did email me a while back...I haven't been keeping up on my email because I didn't have a lot of time back then, but I have a little more time now. BTW that's not my Batmobile on your site, it's Maoto's. I could tell right away because his has the AMT/Ertl/Richman's Toys incorrect trunk seam line (extreme curve). On my version, the curve is more subtle, like the movie version. That's not to take anything away from Maoto...his Batmobile impresses the hell out of me---over all, it has better textures (if you saw the textured version), and a much smoother (less-jagged) shape, that makes it a much closer interpretation of reality than mine is.

But there's two different purposes for our models. His was created primarily for rendering, and mine was created with the intent of porting it into a game eventually, so practicality required that I "budget" my polygons.
