Rusty,

I forgot but Nitro usually donates about $1000 every year. Also a pair of tickets to see Zigfried and Lloyd is thrown in also but I usually return those back as he insists on tagging along.

DO YOU OWN A REPLICA BAT-VEHICLE? Not Yet

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF YOUR PAST OR PRESENT INVOLVEMENT IN THIS INDUSTRY (if willing to share):
Just another car guy

OCCUPATION:owner

YOUR LINKS OR ONLINE PHOTO ALBUMS:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
My son and I were looking into building our first batmobile and we were originally interested in 66 batmobile but checking the 66 forum over there it seems like no one is offering kits anymore. After we caught a glimpse of the 89 batmobile at Irvine Spectrum on display few months ago we decided to try 89 batmobile instead. Been a lurker here and there and I got a bit of reading and catching to do before I take the plunge. Any advice is welcomed. Feel free to email me at: alexganerro[at]yahoo.com

DO YOU OWN A REPLICA BAT-VEHICLE? Not Yet.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF YOUR PAST OR PRESENT INVOLVEMENT IN THIS INDUSTRY (if willing to share):
I have been contracting all my life but had to retire early last year due to injuries. Don't let others tell you otherwise. Retirement is no fun at all. I came across some old batman magazines and toys from 1989 while I was cleaning out the attic and decided on a whim to search for batmobile on yahoo and here I am. Looking at all these build pictures got me thinking why not. I am a member of the local car club that meet once every two weeks and can get help from plenty of knowledgable guys to help me with the build. I will be travelling to US in few months for grand kid's birthday and would love to see some of the members cars and talk more if possible. I am definitely hoping to visit Rusty's museum for sure.

OCCUPATION: Retired

NAME: Razvan Dragu (Nickname Legolas)

AGE: 22

HOMETOWN: Bucharest, Romania

DO YOU OWN A REPLICA BAT-VEHICLE? Nope, just model kits

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF YOUR PAST OR PRESENT INVOLVEMENT IN THIS INDUSTRY (if willing to share): In the industry as in comics, I've been a fan since I was a kid and I saw some photo albums in the 90s. After my parents got me a Forever Batmobile from Miami in 1996, which I loved (I believe it was the R/C version, and I still have it) I found a miniature 1/50 89 version. After VHS renting became available in Romania in 1998-99 and I rented Batman 89 and Forever, you can imagine how amazed I was to see my toys in the movie. I think I was 8 or 9 years old back then. After years and years of drawing out of boredom, I'm currently a VG tester and freelance comic artist. Also a comic, statue and model kits collector, but only Batman related stuff (pretty much).

OCCUPATION: Freelance comic artist

YOUR LINKS OR ONLINE PHOTO ALBUMS: No albums yet, I'm currently at work.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I joined this forum after speaking multiple times with Bill (spencer1984) via e-mails. He helped me complete my Forever Revell model kits colelction and sold me a Revell Batmobile which he had extra at the normal 1995 price, since EBay had them very expensive. I used a blue glow in the dark paint on the Forever vehicles and I can say then look gorgeous in the dark. I also have the Forever R/C model, the Hot Wheels 89 Batmobile (original version, not Elite) and the BB Tumbler from Hot Wheels, both in 1:18 scale. I also like to consider myself one of the few people out thre that love ALL the Batman movies (yeah, even the Clooney one)

If I find the model kits, toys, etc topics I will post in there and come back later to modify this psot with a link.

Robin: Holey rusted metal, Batman!

Batman: Huh?

Robin: The ground, it's all metal. It's full of holes. You know, holey.

Batman: Oh.
