I've no more pics or articles to post.

So here's complete list of comments(all 700) posted on other pages (yes, this website has other pages..).

6/27/2005 3:59:18 PM I'd have to agree with the most of you. I liked the original better, but this is definitely the beast of the bunch. And to anonymous with the specs. It sounds like you might've some vehicle engineering. Anyways. I think it'll build towards the earlier models nicely. I mean hell they have to start off somewhere. I never really like the Clooney or Kilmer vehicles. Too much wing. Too much glitter. I mean damn how are you going to sneak up on something lit up like a freakin' Christmas Tree!!!! Damn that disco era. I think that's enough for now.
6/27/2005 12:09:16 PM Does anybody know of a 1/24-5 plastic scale model in the works? Why that jap company did theirs in 1/35th scale is completly beyond me. Those of us who build have Batmobile collections in all the same scale, 1/24-5. I have 9 in mine and don't want a 1/35 scale tumbler, needs to be 1/24. or 1/25. Come on Revell/Monogram, get on it.
6/27/2005 10:01:13 AM Would like info on where I can buy a 1989 batmobile......have money, very interested, would like all the info I can get. Please e-mail me....thanks!
6/27/2005 8:39:37 AM It's good.
6/27/2005 8:38:46 AM I've seen the movie and when I saw this thing in action it rocked, I like keatons batmobile but I'd prefer to have this one. You'd scare the bad guys into submission, If a saw this coming towards me i'd crap my pants.
6/27/2005 12:11:46 AM it's great
6/26/2005 10:52:18 PM Who put these specs...these are confidential.....
6/26/2005 8:36:39 PM man it looks cool but not for batman batman's car has to be clean, fast, and sleek this is a bis clunky monster it would look better in a movie like X-Men of the punisher 1989 original is the best
6/26/2005 8:30:13 PM yo this car is the best one by far in looks but the thing that puts the original above the rest is the gadjets think about and is it just me or would it be cool to see a movie version of the original batman cartoon batmobile
6/26/2005 8:30:13 PM yo this car is the best one by far in looks but the thing that puts the original above the rest is the gadjets think about and is it just me or would it be cool to see a movie version of the original batman cartoon batmobile
6/26/2005 6:37:29 PM Don't forget to check the forum. http://www.chickslovethecar.com/forum.asp
6/26/2005 6:16:15 PM it does look cool. however,i think it destroys the original concept of the batcar into pieces. think about the long nose of the car in ALL the previous batman movies and series and even the comic books. dont get me wrong, i like the tumbler, but i think an original concept would have been better
6/26/2005 1:35:51 PM Man, I could've developed a better batmobile than that, this one is just disgusting and laughable.
6/26/2005 1:34:37 PM That has got to be one of the hokiest, most ridiculous things ever seen on film.
6/26/2005 1:33:59 PM Doesn't look like much thought was put into the interior of this car at all. :confused
6/26/2005 1:33:09 PM Looks even worse with the neon turned off!
6/26/2005 1:31:29 PM But still and awesome car? Huh, do you speak English?
6/26/2005 1:29:36 PM ooh, a glowering face!
6/26/2005 12:20:57 PM
6/26/2005 12:37:51 AM Hate? not my cup of tea, but still and awesome car! (the 1989 Batmobile still my fav)......
6/25/2005 3:53:09 PM I love this car and I wan't one. they should do a kit version and you could shove a larder engine in it lol. Love it, desperately wan't one.
6/25/2005 3:52:08 PM I have a very sad life
6/25/2005 3:51:22 PM Dur! Doh! It's the window when the pilot goes low to operate the gizmo's.
6/25/2005 3:48:44 PM Looks like it could be just a reflection of the sky. Probably a nice overcast English sky if I don't miss my mark. I love this car, 'tis a thing of beuty.
6/25/2005 4:18:10 AM Any plans of making this a donor car to turn into a badass batmobile?
6/25/2005 12:10:38 AM :mad
6/25/2005 12:05:04 AM
6/24/2005 11:58:19 PM This car rox!!!
6/24/2005 11:51:53 PM honesty, the best car is the keaton car. it looks the best, got the best gagets and has got the best engine!!!
6/24/2005 10:12:04 PM One of the worst Batmobiles ever. Looks more like a Jukebox with all the neon. The Keaton Batmobile is the Classic and still best. It looks like if there was a real Batman this would be what he drives. Besides - it's got Onstar!
6/24/2005 9:15:11 PM
6/24/2005 9:11:16 PM
6/24/2005 5:28:43 PM

6/24/2005 3:47:37 PM if anyone could send me an email about where/how as well as how much i woulud like to get me one of them fancy bat cars. lol Anyways i would like to get some info on a car kit for the Dark Knight's ride Thnx -Kaoz
6/24/2005 1:05:56 PM hey they updated the clooney and kilmer car sections. They don't look as bad as this one.
6/24/2005 6:52:33 AM i hate it too
6/24/2005 4:51:50 AM the new bat car costs abouut 1.7 million to buils and can jump vertically 6 feet and when traveling at its top speed 220mph it can jump over 40 feet
6/23/2005 4:53:20 PM
6/23/2005 2:40:07 PM Ageless urban crime fighting machine with enough gadgets to keep James Bond satisfied, How i would love to own one of these, i plan to one day as my friend has a knightrider (KITT) replica i will have to go one better! this is what i would like to have at the heart of mine if money was no object: Lightweight aluminium chassis with twin Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa engines one back one front so in effect independent four wheel drive makes for some serious road cherning fun, add fully ajustable hydrolic suspension for some low rider looks and sports handling now this would be the ultimate batmobile! P.S. Great site.
6/23/2005 12:56:08 PM All in all. It's pretty nice, since this was more of a kids movie. But, I think Keaton and Kilmer both had pretty cool cars.
6/23/2005 12:53:21 PM Still Rocks!
6/23/2005 10:20:15 AM
6/23/2005 6:06:18 AM Not only is this is the Best Batmobile, but Michael Keaton was also the best Batman!
6/23/2005 2:56:17 AM
6/23/2005 1:18:39 AM that is some sweet work, always been a fan of batman, the closest i come are the sketches in my book. I may not be as hardcore to afford to build my own, but maybe i will someday construct my own batmobile, well in my case a batgirmobile awesome awesome stuff dudes
6/23/2005 12:46:20 AM
6/23/2005 12:40:55 AM It is so cool!!!!!
6/23/2005 12:39:26 AM
6/23/2005 12:31:56 AM i like the first batmobile but the tumbler looks more agresive and that's cool !!!!!!:
6/23/2005 12:26:05 AM awesome
6/22/2005 11:13:22 PM I'd hit it
6/22/2005 10:58:21 PM No it's this one

6/22/2005 12:58:30 PM They ruined the batmobile here, Keaton Car All the Way!
6/22/2005 5:55:42 AM I think this batmobile is the best of all films !
6/22/2005 1:26:12 AM does anyone knows the cost of the tumbler?
6/21/2005 10:54:09 PM The real Barmobile rules? Yeah sure, whatever you say chief...
6/21/2005 10:52:55 PM Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Pretty stupid.
6/21/2005 10:48:46 PM Whatever...
6/21/2005 10:46:33 PM Who cares what YOUR opinion is? "the best batmobiles are..." nyeh, nyeh, nyeh! Shut your pie hole !
6/21/2005 10:44:39 PM Morons...
6/21/2005 10:44:00 PM Too freakish...looks like it was designed by Todd McFarlane. :confused
6/21/2005 10:42:11 PM How do I get one...sure, just go to your local Hummer dealer and plunk down 5 million...
6/21/2005 10:41:27 PM At local Hyundai dealer! Schmuck...
6/21/2005 10:40:55 PM What the hell is that mirror-finished thing in between the machine guns?
6/21/2005 10:39:10 PM Yeah whatever...
6/21/2005 10:36:30 PM Well, if your dreams are me porking your girlfriend, then I hope they come true too!
6/21/2005 7:30:44 PM i want a batman begins tumbler now where can i get the car at
6/21/2005 4:53:38 AM rumor also has it that they could be legal in 48 out of 50 states!
6/21/2005 4:51:22 AM rumor has it htat the makers of the tumbler from the movie are going to produce 50 tumblers and sell them at numerous car auctions and some could reach as high as $250,000
6/21/2005 12:47:05 AM Michael Keaton was the only Batman!
6/20/2005 10:54:39 PM Settle down fanboy, settle down...you'll piss your pants if you don't.
6/20/2005 10:53:48 PM Oh shut the hell up anyone of you...
6/20/2005 9:23:36 PM Where does the replica line start? I'm interested in buying one.
6/20/2005 1:52:28 PM wow, my girlfriend sitting naked in that car . . . man i hope dreams come true!!
6/20/2005 4:44:20 AM The car is cool. It looks like a weapon of choice. Let's forget about imaginary car engineering for a moment and look at the social engineernig going on here. This car is trying to make stealth technology and uber-arms manufacturing for domestic use look normal, even fashionable. Very soon a car won't be acceptable on the American market unless it can slip underneath the neighbours radar and take a few hits from their RPG emplacements. This adds to the whole escalation thing, 'cause you just know the neighbours are going to do some research on what gets through the active armour and then...
6/20/2005 1:45:53 AM What kind of freaks are on this website? This is how I talk : lol Assholes...
6/19/2005 11:50:00 PM WTF are you talking about? The 95 sucks ass! The tumbler is probably the most realistic Batmobile yet in a movie!
6/19/2005 11:46:59 PM Man, is this a posting board for morons or what? "this site is great. I come on here every day!" You must go to school on the very short bus.
6/19/2005 11:45:08 PM Did I spot a cigarette lighter and a cassette deck?
6/19/2005 11:43:48 PM That's great Tim, we love it too. I hated how the toy turned the turbine into basically a missle, what the fuck?
6/19/2005 11:42:16 PM What kind of stupid ass comment is that? "i grew up watchin this batmobile so its the best to me"... Well goody for you, like anyone gives a rat's ass!
6/19/2005 11:40:33 PM Oh hell, some of you geeks take this shit too far, it's a FUCKING movie, for Pete's sake! It's not about real life, just enjoy the movie or go back to watching Pokemon!
6/19/2005 11:31:28 PM the 95 is the best by far! the tumbler sucks!
6/19/2005 11:23:25 PM the 95 is definitly the best
6/19/2005 9:26:49 PM Yeah, sure thing, how much are you willing to spend? I'll let them go for about $40... Oh, my impression of every other twit Yeah
6/19/2005 9:22:43 PM Geez, can at least half of you schmucks learn how to spell? Dumbasses...
6/19/2005 9:18:43 PM What type of car is the Batmobile? WTF? Like what kind of jet is Wonder Woman's invisible jet?
6/19/2005 9:12:59 PM hahaha thats so lame batmam ? HAHAHA
6/19/2005 9:11:33 PM hey dont diss my car or ill run u all over with it
6/19/2005 8:37:06 PM God dang, the Batman Begins Batmobile kicks some serious ass ! Some dude admitted having the bedsheets? Geez, do you still live at home?
6/19/2005 8:29:13 PM YOU had the bedsheets? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!! NERD !!!
6/19/2005 6:15:47 PM very niiiiice!!:
6/19/2005 5:55:13 PM To the genius who dissected the Tumbler.... Did you actually go see the movie? The Tumbler is NOT running either a diesel, nor a jet turbine for normal means of propulsion. It sounds like a big-block gasoline engine, no hint of turbo whine. The jet part is as hokey as the other batmobiles, and is used only for jumping, or a big boost.
6/19/2005 3:43:32 PM To the person bitching about the "realism" (or lack thereof) of the Tumbler. I know this film is supposed to be the most "realistic" of them all, but dude it's still just a freaking movie. Quit overanalyzing and you'll leave yourself with more time to masturbate to online porn.
6/19/2005 2:16:57 PM the keaton car was the best but this one is good
6/19/2005 1:58:03 PM there hella nice
6/19/2005 4:20:14 AM : : i think the scale goes that way...
6/19/2005 4:09:37 AM
6/18/2005 5:06:45 PM The 89' Batmobile is the best, nothing compares to it:
6/18/2005 12:59:05 AM How do i get one.
6/17/2005 9:24:55 PM Hi there! I was wondering if I could get an enlarged photo of the vehicle information on the batmobile. The image is a little small to read. If it would be possible. I am looking at building one and am interested in the vehicle statistics. Thanks. By the way, great site. Blueprints like these are hard to come by.

6/17/2005 9:02:53 PM http://www.batmobilehistory.com/beginsbat.jpg
6/17/2005 9:02:01 PM http://www.batmobilehistory.com/2005-batmobile.php Look this foto, what crazy, dude !!!
6/17/2005 8:57:50 PM Oh, sorry, it's Tumbler, without H hehehe sorry.
6/17/2005 8:53:03 PM how is possible, a chevy 350, with 500 hp, makes this car goes 220mph, crazy isn't, and the slides, with these big tires, uhhhh it fucking rocks
6/17/2005 8:50:52 PM Thumbler rocks
6/17/2005 6:20:33 PM Since this was designed for the military, I have to assume Wayne Enterprises is a slime-ball contractor. So let's analyze this slime ball contractor's proposed vehicle: 2.5 tons = 5000 lb, big deal. That's considered a light tactical vehicle, same category as the HMMWV. The medium and heavy trucks are in the 10k to 30k lb range. Hoosier race tires, big woop. No one uses them anymore in mainstream racing. You better get some rain tires at the minimum, drag slicks are useless on the road. Jet burner? Did he mean a gas turbine based jet engine? Which sucks gas like no tommorrow? Where is the fuel tank? How large is the fuel tank? 20 gallons? 40 gallons? 100 gallons? Everything else looks cool but: Axle-less front end with conventional single axle rear end = RWD, plain and simple. What's the big deal about this setup? In the movie it was running over cop cars and stuff... SO what happens when the rear end somehow gets lifted up? It gets stuck and is easy prey for RPGs. There's not much ground clearance so as soon as it hits a small vehicle or object it will lose traction for just a tad. Assuming it is running a spool or Detroit Locker, then if one rear wheel gets lifted up, it can still go to a certain extent. Otherwise, if it has a viscous coupling limited slip differential or a torsen differential, it may run into problems. Oh yeah, what about armor? It weighs 5000 lb. Most of that weight is probably the main powerplant (diesel no doubt) and the gas turbine jet engine, the 100 gallon fuel tank, the machine guns, the ammunition, the ammunition storage, landing hook, flaps, thrust vectoring assembly, wheels, etc... leaving hardly any room for steel or aluminum armor or ballistic glass necessary to stop 14.5mm bullets or even 12.5 mm bullets. You're looking at a realistic weight spec of around 8 tons. I'd also add 4x4 at the bare minimum, with side skirts to prevent tire blowouts from small arms fire, ballistic glass, 1" aluminum armor, and probably a 40 gallon gas tank for maximum range.

6/16/2005 2:22:34 PM Here is my email if your interested suprmnx@yahoo.com By the way just in case your wondering I'm a degreed mechanical engineer and do Autobody design for a living.
6/16/2005 2:20:30 PM Hello Everybody, I just started the long and expensive process of making my own 1989 Batmobile Replica car. I should have the complete mock-up ready for molding in about 5 months and the first body in about 8 months. I currently have a 1987 Corvette as my base car (what better than a chevy to power the hottest car to hit big screen). I plan to have my car on the road next summer. I am very interested in knowing how many people if any are truely interested in owning their own car?? By interested I mean have the money to make it happen. The reason I ask is because once I have the proto-type complete I will be willing to reproduce the fiberglass body only to interested parties. This means that I will supply you with a complete ready for frame an paint body only!!! The base and details are your project. I will be able to produce bodies from my original mold and ship directly to your door (in the US only) for $19K. So if anybody is seriously interested I would schedule a body just for them. This is a limited time offer only. I will not produce anymore bodies after the end of next year (2006) but will not take any orders during 2006 either. I will only take orders till the end of this year as alot of time and planning needs to be done to make this happen and I don't want to be doing this forever. For all that I have read it seems as the fiberglass body seems to be the hardest part of this build and after doing my own plans I agree!! I will be willing to talk to serious parties only please. Thanks Chris

6/14/2005 9:53:42 AM DH, I hate that you have to do this and I really hope all of the wonderful people who are part of this board will take the time to register. I hate to think we will lose members based on one individuals childish behavior. Tonights a big night with the midnight showing of Batman Begins. We should have a lot to talk about in the weeks to come, hopefully without the troll. God help him seek the help he needs to get his life right.

6/3/2005 1:47:36 AM
6/1/2005 3:46:35 PM I thought we agreed not to re-enter Justin's posts...
6/1/2005 2:58:28 PM You know you love to hear about all the fun I am having. Besides, people from outside of California do not have the opportunities to party that we do!!!
6/1/2005 2:48:15 PM I would love the put the forum back except After Hours Club is taking forever. It's not even an After Hours club. It's more of Justin's daily journal.....
6/1/2005 2:18:47 PM
6/1/2005 2:15:10 PM Okay, I clicked all of the links like 5 times each, so now can we please have the board back? Please.....
6/1/2005 2:08:25 PM "We appreciate all the hard work!!! We also can't wait till we have more than just a home page to visit! " The idea is for you to then click on google ads and generate cash cow for me Stick with the program Justin!
6/1/2005 2:02:43 PM Ok everything restored except for all the sticky topics + T-shirt thread. Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I couldn't revive the 50+ flame war between bat-1 and Justin(the second round, first round was revived).
6/1/2005 1:44:47 PM We appreciate all the hard work!!! We also can't wait till we have more than just a home page to visit!
6/1/2005 1:23:12 PM
6/1/2005 11:51:29 AM Thanks for all the hard work, DH.
6/1/2005 11:26:45 AM Ok onto May 11th. This is when trolling went in full gears
6/1/2005 10:38:36 AM
6/1/2005 10:01:17 AM Kevin, thanks. Tim, He probably means the battery is in the passenger floor board.
6/1/2005 9:30:31 AM Jack I saw Randy yesterday, we ca get you 10 yards of mat sewn with cloth. It sells by the pound so I dont know how much it will cost yet. I still need to look up the radiator.
6/1/2005 7:37:39 AM The battery is in the passenger seat?
6/1/2005 4:46:05 AM As soon as we can post pics, I have some cool Batmobile mugs I want to show you guys. YES, the t-shirts are still on. I will be playing around with them Friday and over the weekend. All these posts should be moved to the recovered After Hours Club. <---- MOST OVERUSED COMBINATION AWARD
6/1/2005 3:42:13 AM Latest TV spot. http://media.themoviebox.net/movies/batmanbegins/TVSpot10/ I don't think Bale's Batman voice is as good as Keaton's
6/1/2005 3:40:32 AM Batman Begins review already in: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8017708/site/newsweek/ http://www.buzzscope.com/features.php?id=985
6/1/2005 1:36:32 AM No, Why is it out in the passenger seat? Kim Basinger wasn't that short. How was she going to stretch her legs?
6/1/2005 1:19:26 AM Why, What? Why is there a battery in the car? To start the engine and run the electrical stuff. Is that what you are asking?
6/1/2005 1:13:29 AM Why??
6/1/2005 1:07:56 AM Look at the 1/18th Hot Wheels Batmobile. It too has the battery in the passenger floor. Our friend Dave made sure it was there. Why is it there? Well it seems that's just where they put it.
6/1/2005 12:51:08 AM I have a food for thought? How come all the cockpit photos of replica have car battery out in the passenger seat?
6/1/2005 12:49:08 AM These could've been an after hours club posts...
5/31/2005 11:58:27 PM "...ban the guy with the most posts!" :confused
5/31/2005 11:56:11 PM Woot Woot I finally got my 1/18 scale model. I already started drafting up my plans in Anvil CAD. Its Gonna be So great. I might start building my R/C car in two weeks and Ill definately post pics. This will be the beginning, first the R/C car then the Go-Cart, then the full size car... Oh I wish all the great things that Kevin were still here... Maybe He can get ahold of me.
5/31/2005 10:51:47 PM You're seriously a trooper for doin all this copying and pasting. I would've given up hours ago and just said "think what you thought again"
5/31/2005 10:43:28 PM Ok, restored until 5/3.
5/31/2005 9:27:14 PM roll call... I'm here! Captain Chaos
5/31/2005 9:26:04 PM What he said. Sorry I couldn't stop myself....
5/31/2005 9:08:08 PM
5/31/2005 9:04:32 PM Can we get a roll call please?
5/31/2005 8:52:51 PM T-shirt threads were all saved in email. I'm just dreading having to copy paste all 105 posts made on it.:mad
5/31/2005 8:25:06 PM Oh and I forgot to add.... because the thread has unraveled are the Tshirts no more??
5/31/2005 8:23:00 PM Just checking in from down under to see if all is well on the board. Just as I suspected it would be when I went to bed last night - organised chaos! My little guy reminded me this morning, as it 1 June down here...15 days till B-Day. Yay!!
5/31/2005 8:19:06 PM Man... If I had a dollar for everytime I had to post 'lol' from Justin or 'what he said' from Tim and Jack....... Sorry for constant complaining. But it's the only way to keep my sanity for now.
5/31/2005 8:16:43 PM You know if you posted those pics of Jack on his new tumbler Doohee...... You would have felt a lot better about yourself and probably would not have made such a terrible mistake. Or you might of made the same mistake, but you still would have felt better for posting the pics. Hope things get better for you . I do love your board and it only gets better, even with a little set back.Nitro out
5/31/2005 8:04:35 PM Fist order of business after restoration is to ban the guy with the most posts!
5/31/2005 7:54:04 PM Hey, I contribute to the board... I just have more guts than you-know-who.
5/31/2005 7:42:00 PM I think you need to send us all a copy of the blueprints and divide up all the magazines. Not really, we appreciate you doing all of the work you do to give us a place to play. Good thing you don't have a life either.
5/31/2005 7:19:21 PM I managed to restore posts from 4/12 to 4/20. Still a whole month to go. And even though I said I won't touch the troll posts, I might have to since some of the responses were fun to look at once in a while. Anyway, I'm dreading having to put all those posts made by Jimmy. You know who you are
5/31/2005 6:09:25 PM Am I coming through? Um.. I, I don't have a whole lot of time. Um, OK, I'm a former employee of Area 51. I, I was let go on a medical discharge about a week ago and, and... I've kind of been running across the country. Um, um, Damn, I don't know where to start, they're, they're gonna, um, they'll triangulate on this position really really soon. OK, um, um, OK, what we're thinking of as, as aliens, uh, they're extradimensional beings, that, an earlier precursor of the, um, space program they made contact with. They are not what they claim to be. Uh, they've infiltrated a, a lot of aspects of, of, of the military establishment, particularly the Area 51. The disasters that are coming, they, the military, I'm sorry, the government knows about them. And there's a lot of safe areas in this world that they could begin moving the population to now. They are not! They want those major population centers wiped out so that the few that are left will be more easily controllab-...
5/31/2005 4:21:04 PM Oops, I have to write my name now...
5/31/2005 4:20:03 PM The windshield is under the canopy.
5/31/2005 4:07:44 PM Might as well keep the forum going... Last time we left, we were talking about the sliding cockpit on the tumbler here's the image: http://www.chickslovethecar.com/images/uploaded/5302005195146bb236.jpg
5/31/2005 3:46:42 PM Basically there were more than 2000 replies that 's to be reposted. Only bad thing is coming across posts from Tim and Jack like 'what he said...' or from Justin saying something like "" or "". Someone remind me why I'm doing this?
5/31/2005 3:01:36 PM Cool! So will it be reconstructed all the way up until last night with the e-mails?
5/31/2005 2:39:28 PM THATS ONE WAY OF TAKING OUT THE TRASH
5/31/2005 2:11:18 PM I am reconstructing the forum by looking at all the emails. I should have it up by earliest tonight or latest tomorrow evening. Only good news is I won't be doing the trolls posts. This is not why I signed up for '89 council.
5/31/2005 2:07:10 PM I keep checking to see if it has been recovered yet. It has not.
5/31/2005 1:56:04 PM What he said!
5/31/2005 1:38:48 PM You may as well go ahead and salvage what you can.
5/31/2005 1:16:20 PM I'm going over to www.chicksdigthecar.com or www.doesitcomeinblack.com
5/31/2005 1:09:58 PM But doesn't the hosting company have up until the day BEFORE yesterday, or no?
5/31/2005 12:53:37 PM The last backup was made on 4/12. So what does everyone think? 1. Restore what was on since 4/12? 2. Completely start from scratch? 3. Screw this and just close the site?
5/31/2005 12:49:36 PM This was all an elaborate hoax to keep WB from finding out who we are, great job webmaster. Our secret identities are safe once again.
5/31/2005 12:24:28 PM You mean we can go back to the days before the Trolls? I say that's great news. It will be like it never happened, a fresh start.
5/31/2005 11:21:57 AM very good
5/31/2005 11:08:47 AM More bad news. Hosting company only keeps day to day backup and says they can't resotre yesterday's data for some reason. I hope everyone remember what they typed in for the past 60 days. P.S. Timb, images and others are all saved. It's only forum content that are deleted.
5/31/2005 10:08:13 AM are my build pics lost?
5/31/2005 10:04:17 AM :sad:mad:sad:sad
5/31/2005 9:07:41 AM Are the "new" icons working now?
5/31/2005 6:39:02 AM Ahhhh....As a former IT Manager in a previous life, I can also attest to doing something similar, but when I was much much younger! Well if that excuse didn't work, then there's the old chestnut... Well I'm blonde! Don't sweat it it can be rebuilt if not restored, he says praying that the host company backs its servers up. Cheers from down here
5/31/2005 4:04:42 AM Get some sleep. I'll just re-type everything I wrote. Yeah right.
5/31/2005 3:54:32 AM YUP, Tim had better get right on that award design, as it appears we have our second recipient!
5/31/2005 1:05:52 AM BTW, this is no april fool's or any stupid joke.
5/31/2005 1:04:54 AM I was looking at my log and someone was actually taking time to read the forum from the very old pages to newer one. He barely got to 4th page and I deleted all content. I can't sleep. I'm waiting for the hosting company to get back to me next morning. :confused
5/31/2005 1:00:36 AM Let us pray and hope that this forum of greatness will one day rise out of the fiery tear soaked ashes, like a phoneix inexplicably wearing eyeliner, and restore itself to a... hold the **** up... Dude I'm sad...:sad
5/30/2005 11:56:11 PM You do not know how many times I banged my head against the table....to think all those great info provided by you and Kevin and other people were gone...................

5/5/2005 2:10:24 PM What a Great page!!!! I am making a 89 Batmobile also, but on a very limited budjet. Mine is maby 20% done so far, but it is full sized, has a single front seat, a wrap around dashboard, and room for 2 or 3 in the back seat. The body pannels will each be hand formed over carved polyeurethane foam block. So anyway. wish me luck guys because I'm going to need it! lol A fellow Bat-Fan, Bill W.

4/1/2005 10:50:49 AM Yep just one last time. I just removed www.thebatcave8k.com , www.1989batmobile.com , and www.chickslovethecar.com from my list of favorites. Hey guy like everone else said it was fun and thanks for everything. Jack
4/1/2005 10:46:08 AM Jack, you there?
4/1/2005 10:18:20 AM So is everyone else going to a different forum or how do all the replica guys stay in touch? This was suck a great site! later
4/1/2005 9:53:48 AM What *&%$"%? here???
4/1/2005 9:37:27 AM I'm sorry to see this happen. This was a great site with great people. I know I didn't post a whole lot, but I visited this site every day, and came to know you guys. Good luck with whatever y'all are doing.
4/1/2005 8:26:31 AM I really hope this isn't it... But great job guys, thanks! This site really helped put a lot of information together that was strewn all over the place. Good luck with the replicas and I'll soon be joining you at the stoplight in my own BATMOBILE (or at a Burger King drive-thru Tim). WB may win this battle but they sure as hell won't win the war. VMan out.
4/1/2005 5:10:52 AM I had a cache of the forum and I was able to pull the aderess of the page where images were uploaded. You guys should grab all the images while u can. http://www.chickslovethecar.com/file.aspx

4/1/2005 4:11:00 AM Truly a sad day....I will miss what was once a great site! :sad
4/1/2005 4:10:04 AM Come on DC.... have the common courtesy and the balls to talk to us instead of just using lawyers all the time to get what you want....... work with us.... and give us back our site.... do something good... do something right.... that's what hero's do.... you seem to have forgotten that.
4/1/2005 4:00:32 AM bye everyone.
4/1/2005 3:59:44 AM DC Comics and Warner Bros. What you have done here is ruin a genuine non-profit appreciation page to a car featured in a film you now have passed on. The car you now promote as the batmobile is the car featured in the new movie Batman Begins. We, the fans are the ones who genuinely respect the craft of these movies and the cars featured in them..... we make you money, because of us... you make the die-casts... because of us... you make the model kits... because of us you sell the comics... blah blah blah. All you have done here is ruin a great website for those of us who had respect for this car. It is a sad day... a very sad day... instead of working with us, creating an online museum for this car... once again.. you shafted the true fans. My thanks to all my brothers here for a year of bliss, ideas, fun and info.... p.s. try reading the blog at trhe bottom of the page.. purely a fan based site.....
4/1/2005 3:46:16 AM
4/1/2005 3:42:13 AM ?//????????????
4/1/2005 3:29:23 AM WB, are you also aware of www.1989batmobile.com? That site really violates copyrights. Plus that site sucks. The dude never updates it.
4/1/2005 3:13:36 AM Idiots. Don't post on the comments. I heard that comments is there just to track all the IP's of replica builders!!!!!! Idiots... Don't post here!!
4/1/2005 3:10:24 AM That's it, I'm taking down my site too.. not worth the stress.
4/1/2005 3:08:55 AM First Mark Towle. Now this!!???? Curse you WB!
4/1/2005 3:01:10 AM you suck
4/1/2005 2:57:23 AM WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE???
4/1/2005 2:47:31 AM
3/31/2005 11:25:47 AM Hey there fellow 89 Batmobile enthusiasts. I am currently building a Batmobile Replica " Hydroplane Style". That's right a catamaran boat which very closely resembles the car. My pontoons are two fuel tanks off a fighter jet and between them sit's a 350ci direct drive chev engine. I have the bonnet and sides completed but the hard top roof and windshields are sort of hard to duplicate. Also I'm afraid the high fins on the back may affect my performance on the water. 1/7/2005 1:08:23 PM Hey... Yes, I too am obsessed with this car. I too have made it a life goal to own one. After reading all these posts I noticed that everyone is asking where to get a kit to make one, or where to buy a premade replica or something like that, but I never saw any answers. Now, I know we all say we'll own this, but I seriously plan on owning this car one day. Not any time soon, but if I should have a successful job and be able to afford it later in life, I do plan on buying it, so my question is, can anyone direct me to a site or something that gives all the info one would need to buy a kit/replica/original. Thanks for your time. Great site. Email me simpletruth@comcast.net

12/15/2004 1:24:01 AM I dont know why they changed the car in the last two movies, I thought that they should of just kept the original because the original tops them all. The best and will always be the best batmobile. This car is sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

11/12/2004 7:12:45 AM Amanda, your comments have been copied to the fourm...
11/10/2004 5:28:37 PM My name is Amanda Ruble and I work for a public relations firm in Stockton, California. If you are not located in California, I apologize for the email. I could not find your location on your website. I am currently working on a construction project that centers around the grand opening of a bridge on the Mokolumne and Cosumnes Rivers. The new bridge is of a mile long and it replaces the old tressle bridge. The significance of this project, aside from the obvious construction, is the presence of 50,000 Mexican Freetail bats. These bats made a habitat out of the underside of the bridge long before construction began. In an effort to preserve the bat population, the construction team built a temporary habitat for the bats while the new bridge was under construction. Every evening 20,000 to 30,000 of the bats fly out from under the bridge. It draws quite a crowd, as you can imagine. Well, the new bridge is almost completed and the bats will have a new home. We are celebrating the completion of the bridge on December 3, 2004. Bat Conservation International will be there as well as local and state government officials. We would love to have a batmobile there to celebrate the bridge completion and commemorate the preservation of the bats. If you are available, or know of any other resources we can contact, I would appreciate any help you can offer. You can reach me at (209) 464-8707. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

10/9/2004 1:19:43 AM Most comprehensive Batmobile site I have ever seen!! I would think using steel or aluminium for panels and just use fibre-glass for tricky bits (like fins). I wonder how many people have started and finished a full size Batmobile? Tony - Christchurch, New Zealand.
10/7/2004 11:19:13 AM GO BLOW UP YOUR SCHOOLS HONKIES
10/7/2004 11:10:39 AM I HATE WHITE PEOPLE!

9/25/2004 9:18:56 PM When I go, I ask for only tow things...'a black supercar (that only my friends will know) & to find my grandmother'
9/13/2004 12:49:30 AM also i smoked a (89-92) corvette Grand Sport, crotch rocket,(not sure exact bike but i barely beat him). thats all for now
9/13/2004 12:47:36 AM also 97 neon RT(w/mods) about 185hp,probably 0-60 in 6-6.5 seconds
9/13/2004 12:46:15 AM for all you that say T/As suck take a gander at my ate my dust list to a stock 96T/A 285hp subaru wrx, 70 camaro, 2003 mustang cobra(w/ performance exhaust),2001 mustang GT, 84 caprice wagon w/ 4bbl 350, and a 67 nova with mods.
9/13/2004 12:42:36 AM also your t/a has more power than 325hp, 325 is without ws6. ws6 has 345hp stock. also T/As match the name of your website
9/13/2004 12:38:22 AM about specs above: top speed is 159 not 165 0-60 for the auto is about 5.5sec not 6 i have 96 t/a auto stock 0-605.6seconds. T/As rule. had a really hot chick tell me it was better than her uncles vette convertable, and that is all that matters to me. T/As are in between camaros and vettes i think because pontiac doesn't have a vette-like car. yeah gto but they have no style like camaro, t/a, vette

8/23/2004 10:38:30 AM whoever runs this site, the browning machine guns aren't submachine guns by the way
8/22/2004 1:12:26 PM DUDE! This is a cool site. I hate how they are making the batmobile in batman 5 ( aka. batman begins ) look like a tank. Its stupid. They should go back to what the 1989 batmobile looks like.
8/15/2004 1:59:42 PM Hey everyone im going too see this car today its in Michigan at a car dealership im gonna take some pics of it tell u more later!

8/6/2004 9:06:34 PM actually the first 89 B mobiles were on 2 stretched impalas...finally the bottom drawing shows the true heater shield shape for the roof of this car as designed, still not quite accurate but much nicer than the fan prints
8/6/2004 7:25:01 AM Its a bit sad that Batman only used his machine guns once. They were one of the best gadgets

7/30/2004 12:04:15 PM is it just me or does batman use the black and yellow striped button to use every gadget in the batmobile (batman returns)
7/30/2004 11:49:26 AM well download it anyway
7/30/2004 11:48:46 AM ive seen somewhere that you can get the batmobile in GTA 3 on pc
7/30/2004 11:38:11 AM the bat-missile is a bit cheesy. if you look at the 4th picture up, you can see the turbine at the front but it is suddenly cut off by the wheels. where the hell does the engine go!

7/19/2004 7:35:59 PM I, too, am very fond of this series T/A with RAM AIR. Nice. I wish I still had my 1973 T/A super duty, ahhh high school memories. Peace
7/19/2004 7:01:09 PM It's a tough call for me, I grew up with, and loved the the 60's Batmobile. But I definitely like the ambience and look of the 1989 Batman better. Great site; Thank You!
7/19/2004 2:40:52 PM dead serious how much for this, i have money, serious quotes please.
7/15/2004 12:09:32 PM the vars was a 1977 corvett, my geuss that it is a special addition

7/1/2004 5:46:06 PM hey man , dop you now were to buy the batmobile??
7/1/2004 12:07:29 AM I saw this great masterpiece in real life at a car convention. Believe me...they had a 5 foot perimeter around the car. I did take some photos of it and they did demonstrate certain features on this car to those that attended. Everything you see in this great website is on the actual car. However, I wasn't as lucky as my friend was, who, the following year, won a raffle that granted him to wear the Batman suit as well as sit in the vehicle itself. Very well done and very lucky indeed.
7/1/2004 12:03:16 AM Actually...the car went on sale on ebay about a little over a year ago with a very high starting bid of 100K. There were multiple pics, some of which highly resembled some of the pics on this website. I did store them on my computer a while back...but I attained a virus that wiped out all the info on my computer. My brother, stationed at Texas saw the car advertised for 400K. There were also some contracts that Warner Brothers would want the buyer to sign also when purchased. This was just some information I happened to cross paths with.
6/30/2004 9:41:15 PM I like to know whether this car if there any one for sale. How much would you think it would cost OR you have to build on your own???
6/28/2004 1:52:30 AM Yes I do post an email
6/27/2004 5:15:24 PM Too bad T/A's are POS
6/27/2004 5:14:33 PM
6/26/2004 10:38:23 AM I'm probably just nit-picking but if the car goes into "Batmissile" mode surely someone is going to find all those fallen body-panels.Surely they will find Bruce Wayne or Alfred's finger prints on there. They do work on the car don't they. Are we to assume they use gloves every single time they touch the car? Or that they wipe it down afterward? great site guys! the vito
6/26/2004 10:33:37 AM The cocoon mode is the epitomy of cool. However, all that heavy bulletpfoof allloy would make the car extensively heavy! But then again it does have 1500lbs of thrust and if all that mass is even distributed throughout the car when it isnt in cocoon mode and it was made of a light but still tough alloy, such as kevlar or carbon fibre then i guess it could still be a working combo.Great site by the way! vito
6/22/2004 4:36:16 PM Where can I one?
6/22/2004 4:35:36 PM I'd like to own one

6/7/2004 5:59:13 AM i want this car so bad i wish they where selling them, but what i might do is get some one to design one for me
6/6/2004 I would take the trans-am over a corvette anyday, a nice alternative to the batmobile

6/4/2004 Yes, please tell us where these GREAT photos came from...
5/28/2004 hi batmobile
5/26/2004 hi my dad collected all the movie fact magazines and stuff when it came out. I know alot about the batmobile but i have no clue on how to start,i have the specs and the model. You are my hero for building a replica of my dream car.If you actually read this it would be awsome if you could send some pics and plans,or pics of molds or even tips on how to build the molds. THanks!!!!!!
5/25/2004 where did these body castings come from? great pics!
5/20/2004 The PDF File blueprints are a beaut. Too bad they don't match up to themselves. I'm trying to build a Keaton Batmobile and when I started to sit down to design a frame with these blueprints, I noticed that the measurements don't add up (pun intended). Theyre a great starting point, but dont use them directly. I may just take my Batmobile scale model and take measurements off that to get a good scale schematic.
5/20/2004 Where did you get these new pictures? They're great. You can see where different casts of the body could be made!
5/16/2004 i heard that there was kit to make a corvette look like the keaton car is thsi true?
5/11/2004 Great site!
5/5/2004 Amazing sight!!! Amazing car. The best batmobile that the Batman franchise has come up with, ever will come up with.
4/30/2004 amazing site i have a 1.7 scale copy of the car would you like to see some shots
4/22/2004 i remember reading somewhere that the base car was a vette....but i can't remember where....
4/8/2004 How much is the keaton batmobile, price wise if you were to build a replicate?
4/1/2004 The Keaton batmobile is horrifying. Some gay art designers idea of cool.
3/28/2004
3/19/2004 great photos!the richman toy batmobile is must have piece for me. keep up the good work!
3/16/2004 A man this is a sweet site. I mean this is the Freakin Batmobile. Niceeeeeeeeeeeeeee
3/11/2004 Very sweet...this would be one helluva project to duplicate (unless you have $2 million)...what did they base the car on? Any details? Looks like a Vette?
3/10/2004 Now tell me who would like to own one??
3/1/2004 Dude, you need to put more about how the car was built, the vehicle it was based on (corvette Stingray)ect.... Dop, Dope site though...
2/21/2004 Probably the most impresive car in movies history. Its amazing to see it on this shots, I cant imagine how it could be watch it on real life. Anybody know where is the car right now?
2/20/2004 the keaton batmobile is the best no doubt, one of my favorite cars of all time, all the others are lame
2/18/2004 cheeby cheeby **** nuck ***** clucka photographer
2/14/2004 Keatonmobile of course. Furst was a fucking a genius and thanks to his and Burton's ideas for design elements the Batmobile and overall look from the first two films still have not aged at all.
2/10/2004 The Keaton Car is available as a download for Microsoft Midtown Madness 1 on PC. Built by a person calling himself Earl Cooper ( a referece to the animated series episode The Mechanic) this is the best version anywhere. It has a horn that is a mix of the afterburner and engine sound and it also is textured underneath when the car flips. *hint* in manual gears it will reach a top speed of 260mph and in auto a top speed of 240mph. Download is at centralgaming.net Enjoy...
2/3/2004 The Keaton one's the perfect urban run-around IMO
1/27/2004 Dude...d00d you are the King! Beautiful web desgin with great info! I miss this one instead of the foregettable Batman Forever and B&R ones
1/26/2004 I can tallorate the Batman forever Batmobile but that Lightmobile from (shudder) batman & robin nNo.
1/26/2004 (Sniff!) Simply beautifull Man Beautifull!
1/26/2004 I will always love the Adam West Batmobile the best, then the Keaton one, and last the animated series first and last Batmobile.
1/23/2004 I agree with you, the cars from the 3/4 movies were poor by comparison, althought the concept for the 4ever car excited me, they should have kept it the grey colour as per the drawing. The Clooney batmobile would have been nicer if they hadnt turned it into the lightshowmobile . That last pic of it above is nice with just the black and silver, sans lights. Love the site by the way, hopefully you can get hold of concept drawings for the 89 mobile, id love 2 c them. SB.
1/22/2004 Great Job, Nice to see someone dedicating a page to such a wonderfuly designed machine.
1/18/2004 well done on a good site.
1/18/2004 HAhahahahhaha.. Trans AM blows!
1/18/2004 U SUCK!
1/16/2004 SSWWWWWEEEEET

I was going to give "Admin" option to delete any posts or comments they'd choose once registration is complete. But I just had no time to finish registration.
