Hi!
This is my first post here. I just received my RC Tumbler from walmart:
It is frickin' HUGE! It measures 26 inches and 14 inches wide. It is basically a three wheeled vehicle. 2 wheels in the back and 1 in front to steer it. The proportions are a little off but the sheer size of it makes it worth it. It has sound effects and the wings are adjustable.
The bottom pictures show it compared to the mattel version and a hot wheels batmobile.

Holy Smokes that's big! It makes the action figure Batmobile look like it's 1/64 scale! It looks pretty high in that center pic, how does that compare to the one next to it? Solid axle in the front?
Still, an incredible size for $100. I gotta pic one up.
Thanks for the pics,
Dave

It is pretty high in the center although the center pic is slightly exagerated due to the wide angle lense. There is a single axle going through both wheels and cockpit.

The miniature studio Tumbler model that was built for the film was also about this size. Not sure if it made it into any scenes of the film. I only saw pics of it a year ago and it's what the Tyco guys wanted to copy. The Tyco prototype I saw had a lot more going for it but cost reductions (to hit $100.00) I guess played a role in the end.
I think with a bit of "overhaulin'" though, it could look sweeeet!

Yep, but I doubt they will have it. Unlike Tim's, my local Wal-Mart sucks.

None of the Walmarts in my area had them so I ordered it online. It only took 2 days to arrive.

Just got home from going to breakfast and hitting 2 of the local Wal-Mart stores. the first Wal-Mart had noting and I mean NOTHING. I kid you not; there were only 5 figures and 2 Tumblers in the toys section. The second one was better but still no one had a clue what was going on. I asked the Greeter for one of the cards and he had no idea what i was talking about. I saw them over his shoulder so i pointed them out to him and explain that he was supposed to be handing them out. Even the assistance manager had no idea what i was talking about. They did have the display boxes set-up but forgot to put batteries in them so they didn't work, and no Batman Stand-up in the photo section either. Wal-Mart has really gone to the dogs. Anyway no new toys to report but I did grab a couple of the free promotional handouts.
