Hey
On the 1:18 diecast, if I slide the canopy all the way to the front, the canopy gets in the way of the gun doors.
Looking at this picture, I don't see the canopy touching the gundoors in the real car.
Can you shed light on what the difference between the real and the diecast was?
Thanks again

I'm at work right now but I'll take a look at it when I get home today. Ok, so you're saying that you can't rotate the gun doors when the canopy is slid all the way forward? OR are you saying that it slides too low and scrapes the gun door panels but you can still rotate?

Yeah if you slide it all the way forward, it gets in the way of the rotating doors.

As far as I can tell, he's right but my open car is still unassembled. It looks as though the gun doors are slightly wider than the real car. I'll have to look at better reference photo first to be sure though. I'd bet they were widened to allow clearance for the guns to rotate.

Dave, this is what everyone is talking about. Do you have any good shots of the car you photographed from the front with the canopy open that you can email me? Thanks Jack

Baneful, sometimes it's every second. The truth is about 6 months ago I started BSing with Tim (www.1989Batmobile.com) and we kept trying to out do each other. Sort of a "Who know more" competition. Well while trying to out do each other we both learned a ton about the car and became very good friends. I can't thank Doo Hee enough for hosting this forum. This forum has been a great place to learn and to teach. Now quit it with the
