Me too, me too. He he he. I want the blueprints! Here's a picture that I took of a car I saw in Arizona at a car auction. I drove a long way to see this badboy but it was well worth it. This is my favorite picture that I took because the flash from the camera makes it look like the tail lights are on.

Yep, I took those too. I took about 50 pictures that day. I tried to take good detail shots because it was hard to get the whole car in the pics. I'm not sure the origin of this car. I tried to find the owner but it was really crowded there. Man that thing looks impressive in person. I love it! - Jason

Not being allowed to have these blueprints myself (due to international shipping charges on them) Ihave only my vote to cast as an independent fan of this site. I say give them to tim at 1989batmobile.com for his drawing of the canopy opener rails.
In my own humble opinion, this is worthy of them because it is an original picture that is trying to help others reach their goal of building a car themselves.
That is my vote, it may not count, but i stick with it. good luck to everyone else who posts, and if you can't post pics.. then at least vote.

I agree with KeatonCar, Tim should win. Believe this or not, he even went through the trouble of making a mock-up of the system just to ensure it would work. What a great guy, my friend TIM.

since were on the discussion of blueprints quick question, to those who will be making a batmobile following the tutorial i will be doing, ive been working on print out templates. kinda look like this this one was old measermetns without the new adjustment, same tempate i used for the 1/4th so my question to yall is, are there gonna be people who will want downloadable tempplates to print off in sections and glue them togeather, or would u rather i just print them off on some nice sized plot paper and sell them to yall? that way i know if i need to make the downloadable tempplates.

I think the downloadable templates are a great idea. It would also be nice to be able to print a smaller version with all of the grid lines. So, what's up with the 1/4 Scale and when can I download the templates?
