I have been exploring other motor options, with/without adding super chargers/turbo kits etc. But I’m curious if someone whose completed a build can give me an idea of how tight it is under the hood? How much space do we have for add-on’s?

It is VERY tight... most people will drop the engine mounts lower to make more room. The hood section of the car is extremely low.

Generally, you pick your motor and then sink it down as far as you can and then place your body on top with as much clearance as you want.

My full build is documented here: https://batberry.wordpress.com/blog/
