So, I’m thinking about making some parts available to builders that may not have the same resources I have access to...

Potential offerings are;

- replica front Ram Air Turbine (RAT)
- replica metal gun doors with punched louvers
- replica metal or 3D printed speaker covers
- replica 3D printed side mechanics
- replica rear afterburner
- replica rear exhaust pipes
- replica dash pieces (screen correct or proper aviation)
- replica front bumperettes in glass
- replica correct louvered trunk in glass
- safety glass windshields (molds are a significant expense)

PM if interested. I might post some pics in the members section...

Pretty quiet around here lately. Are you making these as part of a build? Looks like stuff anyone building a 89 would want.

Sly,

Yeah - been keeping my activities on the DL since there are still a few trolls creeping around...
I can build just about any 89 part either based on the original part or reverse engineered. Figure when I build something, build a few extras as personal spares / or to sell to worthy individuals (like with all my original TBM throttle quadrants).

So, how do you know that you have a big ass 3D printer? When you can print a rear wheel "bat" (hubcap) cover in one piece - that's how. Took damn near a whole spool of filament too...

Sly,

Took a while. Lower qual run for test fits. Going to print next one upsidedown - should cut down on support material significantly, and thus cut build time. Production rear covers are estimated at 52 hours...but should require no bodyworking...
