Good morning all,
I'm new but I've been on the forum for a while.
I have covered a good number of topics, many of which provide precious details.
Whether on the cockpit, the Lexan windows preferable to the Plexiglas windows, the interior and the controls, the front and rear lights, the fuel door, etc., etc.
Sometimes people post photos of their work, links .. It is really very informative for those who want to progress.
One thing made me laugh, well not really and I'll tell you.
I went around to find information on the 1919 Browning machine guns. And there it is the drama.
No plan to build one. I thought maybe I was looking for the wrong one, so I started again.
Always not.
The subject is discussed, some post photos but it stops there.
So I wonder if the plans of these machine guns is not a secret greater than the size of the tires of the batmobile or the front and rear lights, the turbine, the cockpit, the exhaust pipes ... In short, of all evidence it would seem that these famous machine guns have a value much higher than the batmobile.
I'm kidding, but I admit to being wary ...

Search for ‘replica m1919 Browning’ in your internet browser. I have found everything from complete replicas for approx $925, to YouTube videos showing how to construct your own replica. I also found detailed plans are available to construct your own non functional resin model. You can find anything on the web!!!

To build the impossible dream . . .

Hello Dan,
Indeed on the net I could find a good number of replicas in resin or plastic, even inert weapons.
Some videos but without dimensions ...
For the plans I found nothing. Except for paid plans.
By cons I found plans for other weapons, M16, AR15, blablabla ...
Maybe some links no longer work.

Guns of liberty are in the process of redoing their 89/92 machine gun equipment . I just contacted them the other day they said some time mid 2021 they should be back to making them. Doug Hines from Gotham Cruisers recommended them to me for my 89 build for those are the ones he uses for his builds. You can get ones for show or ones for propane/oxygen hook up to replicate the gun flash/bang. They are full size metal replicas that are based on the M1919a4 but incorporate features of the M37. Hope this helps in some way. http://www.gunsofliberty.com/Batmobile.htm
