Just acquired this donor car for my tumbler build. Should be delivered next week so I'll begin the transformation from Fiero to Tumbler.
I know I'll need support and answers along the way so hopefully, this will be the place to get answers. Thanks in advance for the support for me and my garage project!

Why did you go with a fiero? Just curious.
Was that already stretched?

Thanks guys. I've been following a guy, Olli Wirtz out of Germany and he's started using a Fiero as his build platform so I thought I'd give it a try so we will see how this evolves. He felt the overall geometry kind of matched up and it was already a rear engine concept with a transaxle set up.
This particular Fiero was already stretched and re-tubed and built for drag racing. The rear end in this one is a narrowed Dana 60 posi with disc brakes and strange axles so we are trying to see how usable those items will be if at all. I has been thinking of a small block chevy V8 motor, but would likely need to use a transaxle set up or I hear a drive from a boat might be a doable solution.
I could very well end up fabricating from the ground up to get this done if I don't think the Fiero will work out for the best build.
