Hello
I’m a newbie here looking to start a build a few parts at a time. I’ve built a time machine, currently finishing up an Ecto-1 , yes 59 caddy, but I want to start building or collecting that parts for a Keaton build. First I’m looking for the parts, “engine parts” on both sides of the car near the cockpit. I don’t know how to reference them. Is someone selling these?

| Sounds like you mean the side mechanics. Real parts are just about impossible to find but there are some 3d printable files on this board somewhere. I think shaggy has them. Zeus’s has some throttles in great shape too, hope they are still available.

Welcome to the “itchy” club. Yes, real side mechanics, Ram Air Turbine, Viper hot section and TBM Throttles are near impossible to find with Viper hot section and TBM throttle being a remote possibility. Plan on future availability of 3D printed side mechanics from Matt, and building your own RAT. I don’t know if anyone has reached out to Jack to see if he would consider making more replica RATs, or selling his molds. Was sweet work! As for TBM throttles, I still have a couple.

Thanks for the information!!
I’m really excited about doing this car. It’s not my first rodeo so I look forward to the challenge. I built a time machine 10 years ago and I’m building the ecto on a real 59 caddy. I also have a background in avaiation fabrication so some of this stuff in famiure with. What do you want for the quadrant?
Also is Matt currently working on a 3D cad file for side mechs?
I’d love to get those also. Feel free to reach out if a can anyone build a hard to find part. I have the tools and the knowledge.
