Drilled and cut threads in slider knobs.
Placed machine screws through back of plastic and into threaded plastic sliders.
The only way the mounting of these slider knobs could be made any stronger would be if they were made of metal.

so looks like the Ducati 848 rearsets are the closest ones available to what they used in the side mechanics... a set per side = $1000+ total. definitely a good 3d print project.

Wow! I could carve a mold but I'm not good with CAD, are you? Isn't spidey4fun the 3d CAD guy here? I wonder if he would help us.

I need to play with this for the 3D printer anyway, and I think it would just fit the small bedsize I have... we shall see. I should have enough info from the other parts here to size up this piece properly, it's just finding the time to get into it as usual

Did the side mechanics actually work on the DOJ/Justice League Batmobile?

agreed... even the dual adjustable coilover in the side mechanics is just superficially bolted to the outer body.

so a screw driver, sharp knife blade, and some quick heat gun action yielded me this last night...
and if you look at the movie wheel you'll see most of the embossed or printed indicators left on the wheel are merely covered with similar labels for flipping the wheel upside down.

I ordered the Thrustmaster HOTAS warthog control set this week... they are currently 120 off for the set or 50 off for just the stick, so good time to snag them if you are gonna pull the trigger.
