Miss the days when you used to post a lot.
Love your work and attention to details.
Will be looking forward to seeing some photo-images of your progress.
Hey by the way, what kind of lathe is your 13-foor lathe.
What is the maximum work diameter you can work with.
Do you have a photo-images of the lathe.
I'm sure the members on this forum would love to see just how big a 13-feet between centers lathe really is. vertigo

Batmobile

This is a custom built lathe by a very talented machinist from this area. My dad picked this up from his estate auction years ago. You can see its size compared to the 52 Buick 4 door its hiding behind it.
The small jaws are on the head right now, and my other larger unit that I have to hoist onto this sucker for this wheel work goes up to 24" diameter and I have to run the lathe at its slowest pulley combo.
