Whoa!!! That looks awesome!! Are those Alliance tires like the movie car? The tread pattern looks correct. How's the height of those? Hard to tell from those pix.

They aren't alliance but the same type bias with less plys, cost, and weight. Inflated they should hit 46" tall, right now they are 43x23 and around 200# each before I shave them.

How about width? I'm not that concerned about street legal, but I know you are. Also, will you do something similar for the fronts? I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with the front suspension.

So I am still keeping the total width at 102"... these tires are 23" wide each, so compared with the 28" wide our scaling works out really well. The bat mobile rear is about 4.5 tires wide, our rear is just about 4 of this size tire wide, so it looks really close...

for the fronts I am still waiting on some options to pan out... but I think I am pretty set on the interco Cobalt tires at this point.

and with some easy tire shaving the lugs will look even closer to the real deal...
Batmobile

The plan for the rear wheels is to cut a couple super single 22.5 Alcoas on my big lathe, then bolt and seal them together in the tires along with some dynamic balancing.
depending how the rears look all done determines which front tire and wheel option I go with, but for ease of things I'm leaning toward the arsenal wheels with the 35x12.50r20 cobalts. If the rears inflate big enough I may step up to 37x14.50r22 and lathe some super singles to the correct bead flange for the 22s, and or if a wheel company agrees to build my mockup 22...

Not a lot of change, but got the rear Vette subframe outta the way. Windshield and A pillar about to come off next. Transaxle, torque tube, clutch and all things stick related are about ready to come out too.
I've got budget performance H2 Hummer brake setup and master cylinder figured out as well, might be able to even keep ABS active at this point.

Nice to see pix of your progress. Don't forget, the gas tank was about 3/4 full so you might want to drain that before any welding.😳
