If anyone would ask me if I would do it this way again, I would tell them its VERY TIME COMSUMING...
No the wisest decision I made and in hine sight, should have probably waited a few more weeks and had then printed out on large format printers.
But so we learn...
Continued with a few more...
And then the task of cutting them out so that I can transfer the shape to wood and eventually get the mock ups started... But that will come soon...

hey WAR Machine,
As long as your poster print outs are scaling up correctly to the 1:1 size I don't see any problem using this method.
Might want to measure a couple of your assembled poster templates to verify they are accurate 1:1
Other than being time consuming.
I've seen it used before.
But, I have also seen it used by one fellow on a printer that for whatever reason printed out 15% under the 1:1 scale.

Hi Vertigo.
Yes indeed you have a point and before I printed out all the required sections I printed 2 random pieces and did a test compared to the Files from Jason. I was about 2mm out on the afterburner but that could just have been the way the paper was lying or the way I measured that one piece. Either way I was please with it and then continued.
But again this is another reason why it is always good to have a dedicated section / forum for different inputs and ideas from a multitude of individually that all have the same goals, mindset, passion and love for something...

When I done mine I measured everything off the 1/6 scale model. I had to guess a lot of angles and work with it till I made it fit but it came out alright

Hi All.
@ Vertigo: Yes some progress at least...
Ok so end of last year was not the greatest, and my wife & I decided to take a bit of a break and separated for a while to see how things pan out. And never an easy thing, but none the less, it is what it is...
So due to her traveling so much for work, I have the kids so I had to change a few of my ways.
BY NO MEANS AM I STOPPING... The build will go on...
But while this was all going on I had a bit of issues with my newly painted garage, where the paint was starting to leave marks and I couldn't get rid of them. Looked like it wasn't painted in a few years.
So anyway, went back to the paint guys and eventually sorted out the issue but meant I had to re-paint the whole place out again...
But if it meant fixing the issue then so be it... So I had to remove everything again and repaint. Then while the place was empty, I got some 2nd hand laminated flooring so thought its now or never...
And while my boards were off the walls, I had some time to spare and 5 liters of varnish, so did a layer of clear varnish on them too...

Now I know I'm probably putting in a lot more effort into this place than I should, but I had the stuff needed to do it and the opportunity, now I cant look back and say I should have...
And it was a good way to spend some time doing something while the kids were spending some time with the wife...
I then got around to painting the cabinets and also did a finishing strip for the floors.
And mounted the boards back, and had the clamp racks painted too.
Now I just need to finish off the bottom of the cabinets and I have some granite tops to replace the current ones...

Dont want to go thru removing everything again just for that..
Well Life is what it is and we will see how things go and only time will tell, so here's to waiting...
