Placed a copy of this post here for anyone planning to and/or actually building a Bat Vehicle.
I have current plans to make several major and a number of minor parts for both my Tumbler and Justice League Bat Vehicles.
Given their significant involvement with several current Bat Vehicle builds it very likely that 3D printers will continue to be even more involved in future Bat Vehicle builds.
Here is an outstanding book written in plain English without all the techno jargon that covers the principles and construction techniques of building 3D printers.

Finished prepping the main body mold today. Here's a picture of the bottom of the main body. ( but it's the top section of the mold as the mold is upside down).

Batmobile

This gives a good idea of interior space.

Here's some measurements for THEMAN. Keep in mind this is the outside skin that framework will go inside. 54 inches is at about the back door hinge. So behind the seats. The seats and forward space is 59". Hope that's enough. It looks pretty roomy to me, but you have to subtract the space needed for tubing.

Here's some pix of the whole thing temporarily bolted together.

Looking forward to laying the body in. I think I have come up with a plan to do it as a whole piece. I will build a wooden support frame around the body (which needs to be done anyway) to keep it from flexing. Then attach it to an auto rotisserie so I can move it to any angle to lay the fiberglass.

That being said, It spit a little snow today so I'm afraid I will have to put off laying the body until next spring. There is some milling and CAD work that can be done over the winter. I can get the side boxes ready and the side jet air intakes have another part that will need to go inside once the main body is finished. It's the section here I have circled.

Update:

Working on milling the interior tubes of the side jet air intakes. I'll get back to you when I have something picture worthy. Just wanted to let you know I'm still working on it.

Progress Update:

Well, I haven't been too focused on the batmobile lately as there are a lot of other distractions in my life right now. But I did manage to mill the interior insert for the drivers side Jet air intake and it has been the most complex piece I've done yet.

The pictures below are pretty raw. There is a lot of prep work still to be done to get this ready for fiberglass. It's a bit tricky because, unlike the other parts where the fiberglass went on top of the plug, on this one the fiberglass will have to go inside. When the mold is pulled from the plug the part will be laid on top of the mold and the mold will again have to be pulled out of ..... the part. (That's not confusing at all) I THINK I can make this work.

OK, here's the pix. Remember, this is for the INSIDE of the Jet air intakes. So the outside of this plug means nothing. It's the inside that counts.

Looks complex.
Looking forward to seeing all you work and attention to detail come together into a finished body. vertigo

Me too brother.

Still have side boxes, the big areo wings in the back, wheel covers, and other things. So, still a lot to do. I think a 3d printer for the front guns and interior stuff will probably be in the plans too.
