hey sly,
The Justice League Batmobile looks a lot like the RC Mattel.
Like it or not, this gives us a good clear look at Batman’s newly
modified Batmobile for the Justice League movie.
The photo of the Justice League Batmobile while being transported is
believed to have been taken in Los Angeles on the way to the WB Studio
Tour.

Yep, same car with modifications. I'm hoping they return to the original version for the stand alone Batman movie.

Finished the Turret body this week. Not exactly screen accurate, but it is dimensionally correct and certainly has the flavor of the piece.

Looks pretty menacing to me. Excellent workmanship and prop making skills.
What percentage do you think you have completed of your total wood mockup? vertigo

I think about 80% done. I have the defensive weapons array almost done and I have an idea for the turret base that might make it happen pretty quickly. That leaves the back wheels and wheel covers, the rear large spoilers, and the engine cover/rear axle cover. Still no small amount of fabrication.

hey sly,
Took this excerpt from an interview with Tatupoulos.
While on the set of Justice League, production designer Patrick
Tatupoulos proudly pointed out the new additions to the Batmobile such
as new machine guns on the front and sides of the ride, cannons and
missile launchers. “This is the DOJ Batmobile rebuilt after its
encounter with Superman. It has evolved into Batman’s meaner than hell
new and improved ride.”
Sounds like an indication that it may well be used in “The Batman”
stand alone movie.
Sent an email to Hot Toys requesting information on how The Justice
League batmobile might affect the release of the DOJ Batmobile. vertigo

OK, mostly finished. still need the lower two rotator plates and then attach to the car. The bottom gear section is an old brake drum I got from a salvage yard. It is too small, only 13 inches in diameter when it needs to be 16 to 17 inches, But it has the look. Not perfect, but OK for this mockup.
There is a hose on the rear of each gun. I think this is the gas line for the sim-fire guns. I replicated it with some lines I had laying around. They are too long but it gives the effect.
