Progress Report,
Bought steel on Friday.
Cut and fitted steel on Saturday. Cut center steel pivot tubes.
Welded 3" x 3" X 1/4" wall square tubing to bottom of factory frame and clamped 1/4" thick steel skid plate section in place. Wheel base is now 152" and frame is 3 inches deeper.
Two brackets on factory frame just happened to match up with back of seats so I clamped a temporary piece of plywood in place.
Next:
Will remove some brackets off the frame and grind smooth in preparation to apply a 1/4" steel sheet covering to sides of center frame. From this I will attach other frame modifications and pivot tubes.

Looks like a good days work. Cut center steel pivot tubes. What are pivot tubes for?

Center pivot tubes are just for show but I am going to use them to attach some outer parts to.
Photo-image shows them as a pair at the center. They also have a step up plate.

Here is a photo-image that claims to be of the Hot Toys 1/6 Justice League batmobile.

Yeah man, they are supports for the foot steps to get in the cockpit... I wouldn't just have them for show, make them strong for use. That's my intention.

Hey THEMAN
I am welding mine to the core frame.
Turn your RC model upside down. I believe they not only support the step ups but it looks like they are from side to side and might be the pivot points for the vehicle to rise up higher or might just be weld points to change the angle intersections of bottom plates.

Progress Report,
Not much to show for 25-hours but did the following.
Completed cutting and grinding off clean all not needed brackets, mounting plates, etc..etc..
Completed welding on first 4 feet of the center skid plate.
Cut a proxy wood pattern for area in back of seats.
This will soon be cut from steel and will serve as the back area behind the seats and with heavy tubing welded around and to the plate will serve as a heavy duty roll bar with a strong mounting to the main frame.
Will continue on the work left to do on the core frame and add on modifications.
At this point I have a nice clear vision of this build and trajectory.

Love it! The passenger side will be some kind of canon, right?
