Well guys, like many posts Ive read before, I'm finally doing it! lol Like a lot of people on here I've had the desire, and the skill, Just needing time and money to get er done! So my plan is a 1:1 Street legal Batpod build. I waited until I started getting a few pieces of my puzzle together before I started a thread, but I feel like now is just as good a time as any to start. Especially with Brads build almost done, why not start alllllll over again.

So this is how my plan is starting out. Many thanks to Shaggy and his drawings, I was able to import the files into my vinyl cutting sign software. After that I was able to scale it based on his measurements and cut full size, to scale vinyl decals of the pieces. After that I placed them on to wood (for now) and cut it out. So Im basically using the sticker as a template. Here's a sample of what it looks like.

Ok so before I go much further, could someone point me in the right direction as to how to get my pictures directly in the post? I'd like for them to come right up and not make people click to see everything. Thx in advance!!

Not sure about how to do it when uploading here. I upload to my photobucket then grab the URL of the image then write "["img"]" image URL "["/img"]" and this posts the picture directly.. just get rid of the " " on both sides of the square brackets.
Before you starting anything, check with your local metal suppliers for what size diameter pipes they can supply.

Thanks Brad. I don't have photo bucket or any of the third party picture sites so I will have to look into that. As far as the metal, I have already been there and they have most everything in stock and anything they don't they will order. I will try to figure these pictures out and keep moving forward with the posts. Thanks again!

in order to post photos you have to use Internet Explorer. click on the icon that looks like mountains and a sun at the top of the message panel next to paragraph alignment. and find the image on your computer.. its also better if you resize images first make them smaller than original photo. some of my photos are too big and take forever to load if they load at all.. later

And remember.....there's nothing wrong with using wood.

So changing browsers made it able for me to access the pictures directly from my computer. Thanks Unholy! I still have to fine tune the scaling etc. I will try here with a few more of the templates being used on wood and on metal.

So a few of the other parts ive started gathering, are the spindles for the front steering. My thought was to use something from a car. I figure two things, why reinvent the wheel, and anything from a car so be more than capable of sustaining the weight of the bike and be safe. Its been a little trial and error but I think i have it figured out. Initially I went with a corvette spindle becasue its made out of aluminum. I figured itd be light and it came from a sports car so should easily be able to handle the task. Unfortunately once I saw it in person it is very very thck and bulky.
