Looking good man. Glad to see some progress and looking forward to more...

Is there any particular reason why you went for a square tubing link over a round tube one?
Or was it just a case of you had the materials so you used what you had?

I used square simply due to what i had on hand. Wall is 1/8" so the im building a tank lol. Its definitely going to be heavy.

Been working on the engine lately and have run low on funds so progress is slow but steady. Installed a 670 cfm 4 barrel street avenger carb. Installed an electric water pump to maintain a cooler engine at idle for lack of air flow. I also have a high capacity alternator on the way but i may have to run dual due to the amount of electrical components I'll be installing. We'll see. Im going to start with just one for now.

Ok fair enough.
I thought as much but just wanted to confirm...
Nice addition to the build.
And now you got me thinking about the electric water pump story, has anybody mentioned issues with cooling before or are you just trying to avoid any possible issues in the future?
As i can think that one could spend some time standing still and doing slow drives due to people wanting to take pics or vids...

Thats exactly the reason why. I knew, as soon as i made my designs, that it was going to run hot due to lack of air flow at low speeds. Im going to route the upper vents to blow directly to the engine at speed but needed to keep it cool at idle. The pump will maintain 35 gpm regardless of rpm and im going to install 2 double pass radiators with electric fans for an even cooler water flow. Might be a little overkill but I'd rather not have to deal with overheating if i can help it.
