Hey guys,

Even tough this is an old thread I tought I'd give my two cents over my experience with Kori.

I have no clue how he got my phone number, he says he got it off the internet... whatever. So I start asking questions about the kit and he goes into how all other kits are crap, blah blah blah and he didn't answer my questions, not even one. Since I live in LA, I asked if I could go see their shop and the kit and for some reason Kori always went on some other direction... Ok so I listened to all of what he had to say and I asked the same question: "can I go to see you guys in person and see your work?" Again... he steered the conversation away with other things that I don't really care about. Well it's never a good idea to burn any bridges but this guy was starting to bug me so I told him I had to leave. Next day I get a call from an unknown number, I never answer such calls but my phone kept ringing and ringing.... Gosh it must be someone I know, perhaps they had an accident or something... well no it was Kori again. Same thing talking about same same things over and over again. He calls a third time and finally I told him I won't buy anything from them unless I see them in person and look at their work, he steers the conversation so I told him never to call me again. He did called me agian from an unknown number so I just ignored it.

I/we can't really tell you to go with any vendor, I doubt anyone here gets comission for it but we sure can expose our good and bad experiences and any information that will be helpful to others. Whomever you buy form is your choise, but the guys from CLTC will always be here to help you on your bat build.

That's Kory Geick for ya. Genuine loser on all front. MT isn't too bad a person but he chose to use that snake for his biz which is real shame.

It seems to me that the dingdong would be the guy who revives a 3 - 4 yr old post just to insult the original poster and try to get their post count up?

if you look around most of these threads are years old so mostly the only threads that can be posted on are the older ones.

That is true but there are plenty of older threads that would be useful to revive. Not just a pointless post on a thread that isn't going to help you or anyone else.

Since the post was revived I might as well update. I did meet up with Doug back then to Check out his kit. Nice guy and the body looked good. But before I could buy I found out my wife was having a baby and batmobile money became new house money. I'd still love to build one but for now it is on hold until life slows down and money starts to appear.
