A good friend gave me his TV, Dreamcast and collection, PS2 and collection and Neo Geo CD with its own collection  soI set them up on my third floor art studio last night.

Everything worked fine except my old Batman DVD Player's eject button would not work.

Took everything apart

Even though this DVD player was dirt cheap and doesn't look like much, it's got optical out as well as components and plays DVD+R's. Only thing bad is it's not region free and remote control is very badly designed.

Finally got the eject button to work after much work!

For the curious mind, "Mind Your Language" is old British sitcom about a English night school for foreign students.  The show can never be aired or remade in this PC-age as it makes fun of all racial and religious stereotypes.

Some clips I found on youtube!

Looks like the once cheap collection is OOP.

Open the whole thing.

When you eject and insert disc, the bottom laser portion of the disc drive should prop up to read the disc when it's inserted. If it does not prop up then try forcing it. Most of the time that helps to force the drive to lock in place and spin.
