After lurking for at least a year, I figured it time to come out from the shadows. Someone asked me to post some of my work here in the 'Other Build Logs' section...and I'll admit, after seeing the talent here I am a little reluctant but here goes nothing...!!!!

Batman Related Stuff First...

Begins..Clay Torso Sculpture..

Batmobile

Batmobile

Primed, painted and ready for molding...this is still the sculpture..

Batmobile

Batmobile

The last bit of tooling to the sculpture prior to molding was polishing up the bat emblem so that it would have a different finish once the rubber suit was cast up...

Batmobile

Demon Batman..

Batmobile

Batmobile

Batmobile

Batmobile

Batmobile

DC Comics Batwoman... This entire costume was sculpted over the performer's life casts which we did in house...

Batmobile

Batmobile

Batmobile

Here we are on set, taping the superhero themed episode with her in costume..

Batmobile

Custom Leather Nightwing...The Jacket is my design, with a few influences...but I engineered the double sleeve/bicep superhero-like arms. They work really well too...

Batmobile

Batmobile

B&R Robin..

Batmobile

Batmobile

Batmobile

Batman:Wizard Magazine Ultimates Design...

Batmobile

Batmobile

And...why not...

These are Haze promo Costumes made for Ubisoft the Video Game co. These are full rubber costumes, even the undersuits are part of the sculptures...

Batmobile

Batmobile

Batmobile

.....and there's a whole LOT more at http://www.universaldesigns.ca ....and even more to upload to it as soon as I have the time.

I hope you enjoy this stuff...it's really just a different kind of build.

David

NOTE: Edited to make the link work properly.

WOW! Thanks for posting David. That is some quality work you do there. I am hoping to have a costume made this year sometime.... Maybe a Begins costume. Either way, I am contacting you or one of the Bob's when the time arrives.

That is what you call talent right there, i hope to have the ability to be so detailed and precise one day.  But until then its all practice, practice, practice for me.

Keep up the great work and i hope to see more of your work here at CLTC!

That's some great work! Did you guys design the demon bat's body or was that from the movie, I ask because you don't see the body in the movie.

I like all the costume people were getting.
