Wasn't a theatre, per say...

The "moving picture show" wagon rolled into Jack's village and they projected the images on the side of it.

There is another 2 Disc DVD Batman serial from 1942 being relesed in October as well as the other dvd's.

A little song, a little dance..... Batman's head on a lance.

Even though I did NOT see the above when it was at the Moving Picture Show I did buy it when it was released earlier this year. I actually thought it was pretty good. Would have been better had there been a Batmobile.

I remeber this and the 43 serial were dug up and aired on a now defunct cable station during the 89 craze. I recorded them on VHS at the time, but am lookinginto geting the boxsets on DVD.
