Hi, I'm "new" (kinda) to this forum (meaning i've been reading it a while but never posted) and I know there's not search capability. I do know that many people have asked for it though. Until searching is built into this thing, here's the make-shift search that I do when there's info on the threads that I'm looking for (I figure it'll be useful for some people temporarily).
I go to http://www.google.com/
In the search I put what I'm looking for, then after it I put site:www.chickslovethecar.com
So for example, if I were looking for info on the 1/18th models (that are cool as hell by the way) I would put something like this in the search box:
die cast 1/18 model site:www.chickslovethecar.com
Try it, it works. Some of you already knew about this google search function but perhaps haven't thought of using it on this forum. Hope this helps some people.

(p.s. In my previous job of 5+ years I was an ASP (& etc) developer... maybe I can offer the web admin/developer some help in this area if search capabilities are ever pursued. Just e-mail me and let me know what you need.)

Hey,
Thanks for the offer.
I did have the search function coded in but it was just too slow b/c I'm using MS ACCESS and that's why I took it out. I plan to rewerite the code in ASP.NET and will move the DB to MS SQL when that happens.
