Not yet. I've been inundated with other commitments lately. But just finished the last one today so should have a clear path to work on it next week........ if the weather holds out.

Working on the Driver's Side Front Side Box and I need some advice. Because the space is too narrow to get into the mold to lay the fiberglass, I mixed up a gallon of resin and filled it with fiberglass fibers then poured the mixture into the mold. It has worked OK but I'm concerned with the strength over time. This section is connected to the rest of the part, as I lay five layers of fiberglass over it when making the rest of the part. But it is connected, not encased, if you understand my meaning.
So, do you think this is fine? Or do I need to lay an extra layer of fiberglass outside the part when it comes out of the mold?
Also, I screwed up a bit on this box. In my haste to get to work on it, I forgot to cover the "lines" with a layer of fiberglass grains like I di on the other boxes. So, I couldn't get the fiberglass mat to mold to the lines without bubbling. Yes, I'm an idiot! But I'm not going to do the whole thing over again, I'm going to try and fix it with body filler when it comes out of the mold.

Separated the part from the mold today.
Overall, it came out OK. The lines were a bit wide but not really as bad as I thought they might be. I think they can be fixed in the body work phase.
I couldn't resist putting it all together to see what it kind of looked like. The main body is at THEMAN's shop, but I still have the molds. So, I bolted it together and put it on top of the side boxes for fun.
These side boxes represent the distance from the floor of the car. The windscreen is pretty narrow on top. But I checked with codes in my state and it is acceptable.

That looks super cool. Seeing the molds bolted up that way really paints a crazy amazing looking picture.
