These jokers are rumored to have an in house guy building 2 of these overpriced pieces of crap a year and apparently also have a (yikes) $400k version too.

This just proves wealthy people can’t buy intelligence, but they can buy a crap build...

hey Zeus Wayne,
What are the primary problems you observed with their 1989.
Been looking at a 1989 for possible purchase.
What should a buyer look for in a 1989 and what is the going fair price.
What red flags concerning a 1989 would indicate that a buyer should pass on a particular 1989. vertigo

It does look nice, but some of the finish/detail work looks a little sloppy on certain parts if you ask me. Is it nice? Yes. Would I buy it? Sure.

Would I pay that price for it? NOPE.

OK I now feel that I just have to chime in, on why not to pay that price for this car.

Wrong details?

Turbine ALL wrong: Tri-supports on nose too thin and should 'blend' like a part of the nose, not look like a separate piece. On the outer rim of the turbine they are positioned upside down and whole turbine rim itself too small. Too thick a lip on front edge of the turbine housing and a smaller diameter behind. No engine vanes but instead a 'propeller like' fan (might even be an actual fan?).

Nose: Doesn't have the proper droop. Actually looks ok, but just set too far back? Might be a fibreglass copy? Hard to tell and I have a 'real' one made from aircraft grade aluminium.

Front lights: Where are they? For that sort of cash, you would expect even some second hand ones!

Rear lights: Wrong, just so wrong. Even I have a set of Ferrari rear lenses - and I do not even own a proper car shell.

Rear exhaust pipes: No inner piece to the exhaust pipe itself and back plate just again wrong. Hard to tell if they have the 'ball' behind the exhaust rims and can't be bothered to investigate deeper.

Afterburner: Outer looks ok, but inner is wrong. Do not care it 'shoots flames' because the flames do not look accurate movie anyway.

Rear deck lid: No thick lip on bottom edge.

Tyres: As far as I can tell from the pics by eye, they look like they maybe be correct. Just not pushed out far enough and the wheel rim covers protrude too much.

Canopy: Please close the F**king thing! Then we can all see that is fits well. What are you hiding?

Gas caps: Cobra style and while ok and easily available in the USA, accuracy it is not.

Engine bay cover: Really? WTF. The front hood already has separation lines on it for a reason.

Side air intakes: Get rid of the 'bathmat' or at least trim it too the proper size and shape. Inner lining needs work to the outside. Just looks like a rolled up piece of vinyl shoved in the hole and no trimming done. Also no tread rubber just outside of the canopy.

Side mechanics: Some pieces are missing and why do they flare out like that?

Bonnet latches: Is that a pin or switch I see?

Gun doors: Look at how thin! Mesh again wrong and 'louvers' Oh no, I just can't look again.

Interior: Just going to say that the seats look good.

Listen I could go on, but this information is just from a quick eyeball. All in all, I would say these guys may be great at fabrication of vehicles, but no idea how to do a replica of the 89/92 though.

If you truly have to get one, save your cash and make a better representation yourself? Even paying others would save you a fortune.

Yes! That jumps out right away. Made me wonder if it even closes.

Yes! This also jumped out quickly. Looks terrible. Like you, I have a set of Ferrari ones in my garage as well. (attached to a Ferrari )

Ferrari? I am envious Sly.

I am driving around in a 2006 Renault Megane CC these days, although it is black and sports an R321 BAT registration plate.

I am sorry for my 'rant' post being so long, but the more I looked, the more incorrect details I saw and for the price tag; I sure would want most details accurate.

Well, it's a 360 so I don't think that's the correct lights anyway.
