Heh Heh, not 10 min after I responded to you query I got a notice that my order was being shipped.  Unfortunately they are planning to ship on Dec. 28th. The day I leave for Hawaii. I'm going to have to contact them and ask them to keep it until April when I get back.

Finished milling and assembly of the plug mold for the driver side interior air intake. Used a different slicing method on this one giving about the same result in the end.
And here are both units side by side.
next step will be a little sanding, coating with epoxy resin for strength and protection, smoothing out surface with compound, and glassing the mold.
That will have to wait until spring as I am off to a tropical island until April soon.

Alright, I had to return from my island detention briefly to take care of a problem here so i got the chance to take a look at the Jazzinc DOJ 1:6 scale Batmobile that had arrived while I was gone. Two things immediately stand out, this thing is AWESOME and it is also HUGE!
Once out of the box you see some parts in bubble wrap. I think it's the front gun assembly.
Separating the Styrofoam box we see the car! If you look you can see I placed my 1:24 Jada model next to it so you can get a better idea of the scale of this thing.
I have not taken it apart any further at this time. In fact I closed it back up in the box for now. It is far to large for the area I had planned to display it. I will have to find a better display concept and I just don't have time right now as I will be heading back to Hawaii soon.
