I saw the posts, looks like he is being his usual Troll self. You would think if someone got killed in one of his premier builds he would be lying low.

Kevin

I love what you are doing for children; What's with your car the hood & rear canopy are missing, is your car a Don Currie ?
Thanks Kevin

Hi Kevin...thanks for your comments. And yes, my car is a Don Currie ...have put so much extra $$$ into it due to his lack of professionalism! The hood blew off when I was on route from a West Virginia Children's Hospital traveling back to Maryland. The car is the coolest but Don's work is totally poor!!!
11/20/12, 4:00 PM

Kevin

Sorry to hear that, we have tried to put the word out on Don for years now. BatRods makes a very nice 66 Bat and Bob Johnson makes a nice kit based on the #4 Bat. There are a lot of people that have been taken by Don. I work in Law enforcement and saw your signal 60 stop on Utube. I think its a great thing what you do for special children and how much you go out of your way to brighten their lives. I also have a 89 Batmobile and a BatPod. Thanks for all the great work you do for others. Kevin

Kevin

What happened to your back canopies, in some pictures they are their in others they are missing?
11/21/12, 11:01 PM

Lenny B. Robinson

I took them out for a Hospital walk-a-thon/parade...had a special passenger sitting up on deck...like it better without them...Question: who made your 89 Batmobile? And how is it?
11/24/12, 8:54 PM

Kevin
Its a Bob. Butts from Jay Ohrburg. I built it my self. I also have a bat pod.

I love the 89

Kevin

Is Don going to fix or pay to have your car repaired, or is he just wrote you off?

What you do for the special children in the hoapitals will never be forgotten by the children or their parents, keep up the great work that you do for the children!

Lenny; I would love to meet with you while you are down here. The 89 is in the shop and some of the 66 molds are over here.
Kevin

I wish I knew sooner you were down here, we could have had a hood made up for you to take back with you. If your going to be down here in the future let me know.

There has been a lot of discussion on the boards about your car that Don Currie built, he has all but denied that he built your car. Here is his latest statement he posted about your Batmobile.
“'scary stories such as hoods unsafely flying off on highways' how do you know that actually happened and if it did how can you possibly assume it was the fault of the builder and not someone else who may have tampered or altered the hood to fit their modifications or perhaps the owner of the car was exceeding the limits of the car's intended use and speed...?

Enjoyed our conversation last night. Thank you for being a great sounding board & good friend!
2/12/13, 9:32 PM

Kevin

Any time it saddens me to see such a wonderful person taken by Don Currie ! You do so much for others and ask for nothing in return.
2/23/13, 7:44 PM

Kevin

We pulled a hood for you out of our molds today...

Lenny B. Robinson

Thanks Kevin! I will be back in your SunshineState next Monday, March 4th. I'll call you upon my arrival and look forward to shaking hands...Thank you again for everything!

Kevin

I pulled you hood out of the molds today, I need measurements & when can we see your car to see how to fit the hood.

Thanks Kevin
Lenny B. Robinson

I will be back in the Sunshine State late tomorrow...call you then. As always, Thank You!

Great will you also be in the Tampa area?

Lenny B. Robinson

In Delray, West Palm and then to Orlando. I will make whatever time you need to drive and see you

Kevin

Stop by on you way to Orlando. Are you driving or trailering your car?

Lenny B. Robinson

Driving but I was planning on seeing you Wednesday or Thursday versus waiting for the Orlando trip...its scheduled for March 18th
3/3/13, 11:01 AM

Kevin

Great I will be here...
3/4/13, 10:34 PM

Kevin

I guess you were not able to put something together today? Are you coming by tomorrow?

Lenny B. Robinson

I need to bring my car in for immediate service...after I left an event yesterday, the engine started 'nissing' and back firing...runs rough! I have a good mechanic here in Delray. I planned on calling you in the am...will do around 10.

Kevin
ok sorry about your car, it must get old after a while.

Kevin

Has Don paid you back any money at all?

Lenny B. Robinson

You know it my newly found friend! I have put so much money, time and effort into making this vehicle look awesome and run correctly...safely

Yes...he has remitted. 1500.00 out of my demand for 25,000.00

At this rate...it will take 17 years

Kevin

I am surprised he sent you that I have never heard of him ever paying anyone back.

Lenny B. Robinson

He justifies it because he over charged me for the leather seats...they were part of the contract and he charged me extra...we'll see about any other dollars???

Kevin

Tell him that he needs to pay me the remainder of your hood and watch him freek out...

Lenny B. Robinson

Hold tight...was planning on doing just that with you when we meet!
Too funny
3/7/13, 3:01 PM

Kevin

How is your car going today?
3/8/13, 7:20 AM

Kevin

Lenny can you send me your contract to my email address?
nodemancsi@embarqmail.com

Don Currie is on the boards trying to blame you for the hood blowing off, here is what he posted on the 66 Board. I did slam him hard.

Despite some pretty wild claims and gross exaggerations by a member here (on another board) of XX's bat car replica I have come to the conclusion the hood flying off incident must be a HOAX !
Case in point - no pictures - no trace evidence - no news reports - surely such a car which attracts Huge Admirable attention everywhere- if the hood blew off in traffic anywhere someone would be sure to notice....and take pictures. The hood also had a liner and that is ' gone' - ie no trace of it - no pictures - nothing.
As the claiming member here had that car at his residence recently in FLA and is refusing to post any pictures of close ups in the engine compartment, interior, exterior (said member's job is taking pictures) or post/provide any validated receipts from any professional automotive technicians of said claimed problems with that car then one must conclude there is No Proof of 'problems'.
Case in point - the hood is Not on the car, however I believe there was some other mishap to the original hood by 2nd or 3rd parties.A replacement hood was provided to be installed by a pro bat car builder, then all of a sudden member here starts making wild claims and offering his own replacement hood as a ' donation '. Odd.

The latest post from Don Currie , he is tring to sat DOT inspected your car claming your problems are false.

US LAW for importation of vehicles, inspection and certification must be valid before vehicle entry is allowed.

Remove this

DOT enforces safety standards for vehicles and its parts. Nonconforming vehicles must be brought into conformance before they are eligible for entry.ie vehicles over 25 years old.

Before you decide to import a vehicle or vehicle parts into the United States, you should ensure that they conform to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. These agencies have very detailed requirements that can make importing a vehicle and or its parts difficult, if not impossible, for some vehicles that were not originally manufactured for the U.S. market.

Nonconforming vehicles less than 25 years old entering the United States must be brought into compliance, exported, or destroyed.

Kevin...he is reaching! Let him...if he spent this much time, this much effort with producing a fine vehicle, all topics would be moot.

Greetings Kevin! Hope all is well with you...have been busy with many events and hospital visits. Question: Where can I purchase the correct paracutes? I have seen a few but rather look to you for correct advice. Thanks in advance...lets connect soon. Lenny
8/6/13, 9:56 PM

Kevin

The paracute covers are made by Deist they still make them.
Here is the link

Hope this helps Kevin

They also sell cutes as well...

Thank you Kevin!

Don is on the boards claiming you did something toyour Batmobile, this is what he said "Missing hood - Conclusive evidence is overwhelming - this post is not to blame anyone or any person for the missing hood . I don't think anyone could have predicted it however I question the installation of the part (in video to be shown) installed by unknown persons in the USA that appears to have caused the problem.

New video evidence shows what happened and how it happened to the engine compartment, hood and liner on the Turnkey but not where the hood/liner ended up- stay tuned."

Lenny B. Robinson

Don is the Websters deifination of a piece of shit...he owes me tens of thousands of dollars! Despite his continued acknowledgement of items overcharged and/or simply not provided and promises to pay me back on a scheduled monthy basis, he has failed. When Canadian authorities arrest him for Felony Theft and othe related charges, he will spend time in jail. My attorneys are filing motions and pleading with the Canadian Judical System to proceed with this action...will happen very soon! Keep you posted...and yes, you may post this about Don Currie . All facts! All true!

Lenny B. Robinson

And...even have much of the charges acknowledged by Don Currie within emails to me!
10/4/13, 8:40 PM

Don is still on the boards saying it is all lies, and I made it all up. He has been emailing board members saying it is a pack of lies and he is going to sue me for slander. I said to tell him to go Fu-- himself!

Kevin

Do you still have the photo of your hood you could send me thanks
