I was doing some design work on my Justice League batmobile.
The lights used on the movie version don't appear to be sufficient for public road use.
Do you have any thoughts/suggestions on alternative lights and layouts
that would meet regulations to be road worthy?
One fellow suggested that I could modify the light design from the "Predator" car.
After checking this out I see he was really talking about the Plymouth Prowler.
I also believe he was thinking about the light designs from the 1920s and 1930s.
Plan to check these designs out and look at replacement lights used in restoration of these cars.
Been thinking towards a design that would involve scaling up the movie size lights and boosting the internal lights enough to be road worthy. vertigo

I would see how the light output is on those actual fog lights first... you could always hide more led lighting within the nose intakes if they aren't enough.

vertigo (9/1/2019) hey THEMAN and sly,
Just a few quick questions.
What is the distance from the back of your passenger compartment to the firewall in your donor vehicles?
My proxy layout is at 55 inches.
What do you think the distance should be from the back of your passenger compartment to the dash board?
My current calculations indicate 36-37 inches.
Have you done any layout work yet on planning a dash board set up?
By that I mean like a dash frame etc.
vertigo
back wall behind seat to firewall is 65" at top, 51" at bottom.
back wall to steering wheel 35"
from seat surface your back rests on to steering wheel 28" (to the dash could be another 8-10" added depending on how telescoped your steering wheel is)
from back wall to pedals 49"
from seat surface your back rests on to pedals 42"

hey THEMAN,
Greatly appreciate you taking the time to get those measurements for me.
Hope sly's and your builds are progressing well mechanically.
Will be looking forward to seeing photo-images of your mechanical progress. vertigo

hey THEMAN,
Looks like a challenge for your identification abilities.
Did a little searching for the fuel assembly.
Best results searches: thousands of images in these categories
Most likely from one of these two groups. Maybe a combination of assembled pieces.
Aircraft fuel covers
Racecar fuel covers

I honestly haven't put any time towards this one since I wasn't going to make that fuel inlet operational... just the door there covering nothing really, since I planned on hiding it near the stock vette fuel inlet and making it more logistically feasible. But I'll glance around for something similar if you want.

That part is not included in the 3Dod file so it is not on the car at the moment. I would like to put it on if we can find something that matches it. Otherwise it will have to be created. If that spot is not used as a fuel fill I think it would be great to have some kind of door there that a drone could launch from.

HA, I was thinking mine would need a drone to pop out the back and be controlled by the joystick since the beginning of all this... seems like the perfect addition sly. And that door may be just big enough to house one of these smaller foldable drones.
looks like something bats would have for reconnaissance anyway!

Yep. That drone looks like the DJI Mavic Air I have. Pretty nice drone. You can set it to follow the car. After you launch it and get it to a certain height, just drive at about 20 mph and it will follow the car where ever it goes. Great collision avoidance system too. Would be great for parades. You can fly it from your phone too, so that could be incorporated into your batsuit gauntlet.

From those pics it looks like we are dealing with two separate parts. Just a normal flush fill port (maybe even rizoma) fastened into something that looks like a door that may not even be functional.
