I spent a lot of time building my Tumbler's front axle assemblies.
Spent a lot of time trying to identify the movie Tumbler's steering original parts/donor makeup etc. Never did.
Why is this identification important?
Shaggy summed this up best in a few words.
"What, we really need to narrow down is that front steering spindle. That thing has become a holy grail for this car. From its info we could determine what possible hubs were attached, and from that get better accuracies on wheel offsets, and length of the tube that it all is mounted on.
We know it’s of a spicer-like design. Very similar to the ones used on Chevy topkicks or Isuzu NPR’s, however they are way too large."
Quite a challenge for anyone willing to give it a try. vertigo

It depends on what you mean as far as solving it are you talking about solving it as far as how the y did or solving it in the way of making a working front end here is a phot I doctored the contrast and color on to try to make it more viewable the spindle has to be from a European vehicle of some sort pre 2003 or 2004 will have to be easy to get the axle tube is probably made by the crew in house the hub I believe is figured out the caliper has been figured as well as the rotor there is a part number on the spindle but I can not read it in any pictures I would bet that it is metric for sure because the hub is

I think Shaggy means the actual parts used when the builders built the movie cars.
