hey sly,
I agree with you that Marvel is pushing DC Batman down the road towards audience abandonment and that the mediocre B v S and Justice League film plots and super being villains show a lack of insight into Batman's character. An insight that the audience has not forgotten. After all, most of the audience has been building their relationship with Batman since they were small children. They know Batman's personality and they want to see him solving plausible problems in a realistic world. They have a sense of knowing what he should do and how he should do it. You don't need super villians, and implausible story lines that slip into the unbelievable. One only has to look at past action/adventure movies to find the inspiration needed to build outstanding real world story lines for Batman. After all, Batman is a human who depends on his physical/mental strengths, force multiplying machines, and wits.
"I have often thought about what it would take to make an excellent Batman movie.
To start, I think the Arkham Knight Batman would make an outstanding movie Batman.
And, if they also wrote a good script well grounded in the real world without all the BS extreme powers super beings they would have an outstanding film. Right now they have slipped too far past the plausible into the unbelievable. I guess they forgot that the audience wants to see Batman and his Batmobile in in a movie with at least a plausible reality based plot.
DC could learn a lot for future Batman films from revisiting the Christopher Nolan films.
At least, the first two films anyway. The audience accepted that most of what happen in these films could be relatively possible. I can only hope that they do a much better job with the stand alone Batman movie. vertigo

Here is another collectable with some collectors having 100 plus pin ball machines worth over one million.
As an example this Batman related pin ball machine is offered on eBay for 8000.00
Very reasonable, when many of the Batman and Joker themed machines go for more than 20,000.00.

New Release from Sideshow About This Statue 799.99 Developed and manufactured in partnership with Prime 1 Studio, we are proud to present the Batman Statue from Justice League: New 52! DC Comics relaunched their entire comic catalog. In this continuity, Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, was a costumed vigilante who is known to be cruel and brutal in his methods. His parents were murdered in cold blood in front of him. Despite being a mere human with no powers among others in the Justice League, the Batman was continually the most feared being. The reason for this was that Bruce was not only the most unpredictable member but also the only one who planned everything in advance. Due to this, not only was he feared, but held in high regard simply due to the fact that he was probably the only being able to take down the entire league single-handedly. This is a must have all DC and Batman fans! DC Comics fans, don't miss your chance to add Batman to your Justice League: New 52 collection! Nice looking statue. I'm glad they didn't use Affleck's face. The cowl is certainly better as well.

Very impressive display.
Is the display cabinet/shelving store bought or home made? vertigo
