Towman, you've only got a few posts but it's obvious that you are already building a car and you are serious. Why don't you pm a moderator and explain your plans. They may not have seen your posts but will get your message. I'm sure they will give you more access.

in the time it took you to post your rant you should have just typed "i don't know" or "whats a crankshaft" ?
really all kidding aside...building an exact copy as far as seats and gas caps go is of no interest to me, but the engineering is.. the info i asked about isnt really proprietary and easily determined during drive train mock up.. but its apparent from your response the shaggy blue print doesn't have the dimensions i had asked about.and id guess the bearings used on the front control arms are not listed either... which was the intent of my post.. not taking anything away from shaggys work . i 've seen what he's done as far as the body panels...and they are quite impressive be nice to have an idea if his chassis is as detailed... i posted on his thread inquiring about his prints which you eagerly responded too.... maybe he will get back with me... he has my info

on another note ill make it a point not to comment on any of your posts going forward..as you've made it clear your posts are not going to have much value outside of a parts show . it is sad that you have taken such a stance as it really undermines the reasons these forums exist . if the recent activity in this section is an indication of the number of people following it... its going to get awful quiet in here ..

Towman I know you want access to the Members area. That area is great for an 89 build, but not so great for a Tumbler.

The only really great post in there is about the Rumbler. its 3000 pages of waffle, and 10 pages of useful stuff. Its tiring reading it all, and its not a Tumbler copy anyway. its got 4 seats, the engine sits at the front and goes back, its way longer than normal and the front arms are wider.

So don't stress , there is more info in this forum that you can access. Problem is, a lot of people start the Tumbler. Pretty much no one finishes it. So getting a full start to finish build is hard to find

Just an idea for what it's worth. There is a pm (personal message) system on this board. If you feel someone has asked you an inappropriate question, pm them. No need to publicly air these types of things.

hey towman,
Great work. Excellent workmanship.
How many work hours are you putting in per day on your Tumbler build?
Have you built other vehicles before the Tumbler? vertigo
