Here is a fine example of ½, 1:2, half/scale Batman

Batman

Legendary Scale™ Figure by Sideshow Collectibles
Limited Edition: 250 $2,300

About This Legendary Scale™ Figure

Sideshow is proud to introduce Gotham’s own caped crusader Batman as
the next addition to Sideshow’s line of Legendary Scale™ Figures.

Based on his comic book appearance, the Batman Legendary Scale Figure
has a grey and black costume adorned with a yellow utility belt and
his ever-present bat insignia on the chest. The solitary crime fighter
is clad in a fabric cape, standing in a powerful pose as he emerges
from the shadows to confront evil in his city.

Sideshow’s take on this iconic hero is crafted out of polyresin,
fiberglass, and fabric. As a part of their Legendary Scale™ lineup,
this half-scale depiction of the Dark Knight himself stands an
impressive 43” tall and is 23” wide at the base.

Like a bat-signal in the sky, the Batman Legendary Scale Figure is
sure to stand out as the centerpiece in any DC fan’s collection.

That is of course, unless you have it in 1:1 scale

How One Batman Collector Displayed his Collection
A British man turned a spare bedroom into a bat cave replica.
Darren Wilson wanted a suitable place to store his $21,000 collection of Batman memorabilia.

“I did the room as a computer modeled room first, them decided to make it real.

Wilson, a sculptor by trade, fitted wooden joists and mesh to hold paper mache “stalactites.” Then he covered it all in six shades of grey paint.

Cost was about 600.oo

Current Hot Toys 1:6 DOJ/Justice League Batmobiles Status

Spent a few hours doing targeted searches of forums, model/toy, and
collector sites.

Summary:

No one has a firm release date.

Quoting other releases, quite a few believe the release will come a
month or two before the stand alone Batman movie hits theaters. Most
likely in 2019.

There are many rumors and proclamations from collectors on line that
reflect a vast diversity of opinions.

The main one seems to be a growing concern that this Batmobile won’t
be built at all due to low demand and the expense of production. Not
much positive interest in this batmobile on blogs and forums. Mattel’s
RC 250.oo Justice League Batmobile sales have not been as brisk as
anticipated and are currently being sold at 25-30% off. This could be
more related to potential buyer’s being turned off by this RC
version’s lack of an independent remote control. The phone app
steering is cumbersome and not able to produce the agility that RC
users expect. Those that would seek this batmobile as a display piece
appear to be turned off and disappointed by the lack of true accurate
movie correct scaling.

As for the model to be released there as several possibilities:

The Justice League Batmobile is released as the only edition.

(DOJ Batmobile did not get very good reviews) This possibility appears
to be increasing.

Both the Justice League and DOJ are released separately like the two
Tumblers previously released. (once very likely probability seems to
be falling)
Really, there is not much difference between the two.

Both the Justice League and DOJ are released in a deluxe set with
interchangeable parts. (not likely due to display limitations)

Price:

Given the current market demand they could go for a very limited run
aimed at high end buyers and go high with 1500-2,000.00. (not likely)
The 1500.oo diorama has not sold well.

They could simplify the models complexity and movable parts, etc.
along the lines of the Tumbler’s sophistication and ask 599.00 (very
likely) Even with this price many collectors don’t think they could
quickly sell more than an edition of 1000 units.

Many collectors state that the current market in the USA for the
DOJ/Justice League Batmobiles will currently not tolerate a price
above 800.00. “Very few American collectors could bring themselves to
pay 1,000.00 + for a piece of plastic.” Plastic lacks the feeling and
heft of permanence and is the primary motivator for collector’s
interest in die-cast metal models.

If demand increases occur in the Asia markets, the DOJ/Justice League
Batmobile will surely be built. This is very unpredictable at this
time. vertigo

I'm a collector of screen-used movie props. I like to display my stuff but couldn't find suitable cases so I decided it was time to learn to work with acrylic. It's really not that difficult and you get a custom fitted case for a fraction of having it fabricated.
