I would like to acquire a full set of plastic side mechanics and the round "donut" components that sits on the same side panel. I am an aspiring special effects painter, so to speak, and I would like to try my hand at making the most accurate, realistic set of side mechanics possible.

Thanks, I've decided not to get the plastic ones. I might wait until I can get the one from the Rolls.

I have more real parts of the side mechanics than anyone on this board except for Jeff Dunham, but I have sifted through thousands if not millions of aircraft salvage yard pages made friends with the Vulcan restoration groups these engines were only used for a short period of time before they upgraded from the Bristol. A Needle in a haystack is better odds.

Finding this stuff is so frustrating, that's what I said. Sometimes I just feel like giving up looking for gauges and parts for it. I'm glad you have real parts, your car is going to look amazing. I believe you have a real drop-down generator too, right?

If you have a 3D printer you can grab the models that I uploaded here: https://batberry.wordpress.com/2016/01/10/remaining-side-mechanics-3d-models-uploaded/

You know the crazy thing is when Tim called me about his 3D parts he wanted some measurements from my parts

he was spot on, on every single thing so using his 3D printer program is really like having the very best of closest thing out there.
