Hi,

I'm starting my new Tumbler build and I need a few recommendations on which front wheel hub assemblies people are using?
My initial thought was to use something really robust like a chopped up Jeep axle, however that would be way to large to fit in the front wheel.

All suggestions are welcome

Hey RobG,
Welcome to the forum.
On my Vertigo's Tumbler Build you can see the layout of the front Tumbler arms and axles.
Many have used the front axle from a jeep or other four wheel drive vehicle.
Striped out the internal shafts and cut out the center hub.
Then welded these into the front arms.
A good view of the results of this procedure can be seen at marcscreaturecompany.com
Go to movie vehicle builds sections.
Click on the Tumbler.
There are 5 YouTube video links there. vertigo

That’s great to hear! Thanks for the welcome.
I don’t suppose you could post a link to your build could you. I’m having real trouble finding anything on this site.
Presumably you’ve trimmed the hub to make it fit in the wheel?

No mate no trimming required. The jeep had 15 inch wheels so does the tumbler so no clearance issues. My project is tumbler inspired project based on mr2. Or check out batmobile tumbler belfast on facebook.
