I have seen a Vette based 89 Batmobile, and was wondering about using a viper as a donor? I have been batting around the idea of a 2008 Viper... Any issues one may think of?

Issue #1. My understanding is that the '89 is fairly unstable at normal highway speeds. Not sure 600 hp would help.
Issue #2. Even a wrecked Gen 4 Viper is going to set you back 30 to 40 thousand or even more. Quite a bit of change for a donor.
Issue #3. This is the last year the Viper will be produced. Value of those cars are going to increase over time as it has with the Ford GT. I would never "repurpose" a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ford GT, Viper, or any other exotic. (btw, I'm talking about a Ford GT40, NOT a Mustang GT. For those that didn't know.)
Issue #4. All Vipers are six speed manual transmission. There are no Automatic Vipers.
Issue #5. Engine and transmission are HUGE. And by that I mean that they are physically very large.

I was thinking to use the v10 from the dodge ram, and transmission as they are automatic

Mine is mounted on a Vette and the seating is off completely. Look at the Build Log where the wheel is coming off on delivery, Mine is just like that. A MT build. You don't need a large engine because of power. Get the right pipes and it will sound great.

I was considering a custom Chassis, and using the viper truck or car as a donor car for the parts

In the end you can probably make anything work. You can't beat that V10 power. And Viper motors are built to take a lot. practically indestructible.

You know what they say, "Barbie drives a Vette, Batman drives a Lambo." (The Viper V10 was designed by Lamborghini)
Sorry BluffCity.

You could buy a wrecked Vette easily enough with a LS9 motor and trans for a couple grand (under 10k) from copart.com (Only some states laws allow private buyers to purchase. NC, GA, TN I believe) but unless you're gonna drag race it I think that much power would be a bad thing
