hey gez,
Among the successfully built Tumblers you will find a mixture of FOX and KING springs and shocks. I have not studied that much on the shocks and springs but I do know I will have to know the true static weight forces at the spring/coil mount points, maximum allowable weight travels, and spring rates. Given the complexity of this calculation I have elected to save the spring/coil calculation problem until I have finished the engine/transmission/body completion. I will be using proxy shocks/springs spacers until I am ready to figure out the springs. You could also contact shaggy. He probably would be able to help you out with the movie Tumbler shock/spring specifications. vertigo

Hey gez,
TUMBLER BUILDING INFORMATION
Go to Marc’s Creature Company at:
http://marcscreaturecompany.com
Follow the menu to the categories section, select movie vehicles
section, and click on Tumbler.
There you will find 8 videos with a lot of image information on
building a Tumbler.
I believe the videos are good enough in resolution for you to read the
information off the rear shocks and springs. vertigo

hey gez,
Sorry to hear the bad news. Given your experience with attempting to build the Tumbler, what were the major reason(s), in your opinion, for not being able to complete your Bat Vehicle. Do you have any advice for anyone attempting to build a Tumbler? vertigo

hey gez,
Just wondering. Did anyone pick up your Tumbler and continue the build or was it dismantled and sold for scrap? vertigo
