OK still here, no progress on the car winter and all, I did however repaint my Batman. still not done but better than what it was.

I will be working on the car this summer just a ton of crap to also do around the house that I've been putting off since I got the car.

Later all

Ditto That!

Just received side mechanics (okay. . .2 months ago)
new steering column
new steering wheel
throttle quadrant
tail lights
front headlight from Yamaha snow mobile, that should fit nicely under front turbine (i hope)
new bucket seats

now. . . get the house work done so i can get back to the Bat!

You might be careful where you say that. Could be taken the wrong way, if you know what I mean.

Ok Im back, sorta, I had about 3 days to work on the car this year, I started working nights steady still getting adjusted so summer was gone in no time. So what I did was a continuation of last year. hood lift , first attempt failed miserably ,

this seems to work, not great but not bad either .It will go alot higher, because of the pivot points I could probably walk under the nose at full extension just awkward and a little dangerous being the only one around when I got to lift it.... here are the pics.

The arms near the canopy are 2 feet long the ones at the front are 3 feet, welded on tabs and drilled some holes throught the hood to attach, hopefully next year I'll be able to power the lift but worried about the weight, there is a little rubbing as it goes past the tires but it will be fine.

Ill also creat some fiberglass tabs and bolt directly to there and bondo in the current holes and I should have access to the engine without need of a hoist or a second body. well once I get the engine in place of course.
