I don't think it would take you 20 years you probably could find glass from a production car to use, that A pilar flowing into the roof line is pretty popular now. Maybe use eclipse windshield and door glass and you would only need a small rear quarter glass made maybe just a plastic one. In using a standard window you can use its window mechanism to roll it down.
The eclipse glass is taller but you could just sink it down into the body a little.
